Bede is so unreliable.

He used to be Mr. Automatic.

This weekend could not have gone better scoreboard wise.

That's at least two weeks in a row now right ? Bombers need to get their **** figured out next weekend and make some hay...

Certainly different this year.  Beasts in the east and west has the weak sisters in CFL standings.

Als continuing to show they are legit. Redblacks had a good D - added a legit QB & improved their OL. Argos not that great - seems their recruitment is not as good as years previous

U of M grad Gavin Cobb returns punts and kicks the way Cody Case was supposed to, coming off his ELC he'd look great in blue.

So weird seeing the west like this.

Those vintage Als uniforms are indeed beautiful.

They are indeed sweet.

Als barely beat the Elks. But their record stands for itself....

Elks appear to be a good football team. Turns out Jones knows talent just not how to wear every hat. Als tho particularly Faj didn’t look awful. Elks have talent.

Fajardo looked very, very good tonight. There are a lot of haters on this board but he is playing at a level I have never seen.

His touch on the deep balls has improved considerably

Fajardo threw deep successfully a number of times & they weren't jump balls like Lawler has to contend with.  Most were right on target hitting his receivers in stride. CoFaj put on quite a show. He made his receivers look good by putting the balls right on the money. Sure, there were throws that the receivers had to adjust to but if Collaros was throwing like that we'd all be singing his praises as a qb. Then there were times he scrambled & made positive yards with his legs. He isn't the same qb who got run out of town on a rail by Rider Nation.

Als dominated the second half. Doubt very many thought MBT would pull out a win.

I don’t care for having to say it, as I’ll never be a fan, but Cody Fajardo is the best quarterback in the league right now, by a lot. He’s hitting receivers in stride, dimes all over the field.

A good OL has done wonders, but yes he’s a far more complete QB than he was with the Riders.

1999 was the last time the east was better iirc. I agree, looking at those standings is a strange visual.

It’s an awful thing to have to admit. I have a weird feeling their luck will run out in November though.
