July 21, 20241 yr Go BC, I guess since we seem to be destined to fight Calgary and Edmonton for third.

July 22, 20241 yr Based on this week's games and the standings, are we last in the power rankings? Oh snap I forgot about Edmonton! Edited July 22, 20241 yr by Super Duper Negatron

July 22, 20241 yr So how do we evaluate this first seven games (almost half) of the season? Are the Stamps and Riders any good really? What will the Als be like without their starting QB? Are BC true Grey Cup contenders? The Argos are a mixed bag, maybe we have a chance next week. Where are the Bombers and who are those imposters playing in those fine uniforms? The Ticats are winless no more but does it matter? As for the Elks ... never been the same since they changed their name ... Edited July 22, 20241 yr by IC Khari
July 22, 20241 yr VAJ missed 6 or 7 deep balls. Completing just one of them turns this one from a loss to a win. VAJ also threw a stupid pick that took 3 points off the board at the end of the half. If the DB simply held onto the fumble, BC would have likely won. Riders on top of the west surprises everyone.

Riders on top of the west (for now until they come crashing back to earth) surprises no one. Fixed it for you 😁

July 22, 20241 yr I can’t imagine Adams being in any kind of playing shape for November at the rate he’s taking shots. So far the only ongoing issue seems to be his ribs. That’s going to need rest soon and affect his ability to pass. But lots of danger taking 15-20+ hits a game of serious injury.
July 22, 20241 yr BC lives and dies on the "big play" it looks great and is entertaining and often works as their record the last few years has indicated....but adverse conditions de-rails this....it has shown as such over and over...best case for BC they get enough great weather games to finish first so they can play in the dome for the Western final and potentially the Grey Cup....if they need to go into say somewhere like Sask, in November, like previous years have shown I don't believe they would have a great chance of winning as they are built for ideal or close to ideal conditions...

I'll tell collaros there's still hope.

Long passes are lower % passes... how on earth does it make sense in you mind to say what you said without it being a joke? If the qb completed better throws the game is different. Well no **** Sherlock.

July 23, 20241 yr What difference does it make? And I'm not even talking specifically about the Bombers anyway. You just came in spewing this nonsense saying that the game would have been different for the lions if vaj completed more passes... to which I said any losing team is gonna wish their qb completed more passes... You just make every excuse imaginable for the lions, it's comical at this point.
July 23, 20241 yr I'm not making any excuses for the Lions. I'm saying VAJ had a terrible game and the team still lost by 1. You said that could be said of any team, perhaps because you didn't understand what I wrote. I challenged your opinion by asking a simple question which you refuse to answer because it makes your point sound ridiculous, which it is. The Lions also took a bunch of dumb penalties, went deep too often when they only needed 10 yards and got beat on their OL over and over again. None of these are excuses, they are reasons that the Lions lost.
