I'm starting this thread as a side discussion of all things Corona Virus related. I understand that this is going to be discussed in almost all other topic threads but we could collect news and other items here. 

 

At work, many conferences have been cancelled.

NBA - Suspended.

NHL - About to be suspended. 

NCAA March Madness - Playing - no crowd. 

 

Political Rallies have been cancelled. 

Travel bans. 

 

Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks tested positive. They're in Australia where testing is available. If they were in the US, they wouldn't have been tested.

Currently, one person is in hospital with the virus and no one is in intensive care . There are 26 active cases.

No new cases again in Manitoba. 1 in hospital and 0 in ICU. Really great numbers. Also, this is interesting:

The 93,157 coronavirus deaths in the US are well over double the number in the second hardest-hit country (the UK with 35,341). The US is also 12th-worst in terms of deaths per one million people, behind countries like Iran and Brazil - Aaron Ruper

I can't figure out what his endgame with this drug is... far as I am aware there are generic versions out there so it's not like people are going to get rich selling it.... and he's potentially killing his supporters... is it purely to try and prove himself right and the scientists wrong? Cause if that's the case good lord what a small petty insecure man.

Discussing it on a different forum, and it's pretty much that he can't admit to being wrong so will continue to double down on his idiocy. Why he got on the topic in the first place is a question mark, but he's gone all in on this one. Just be glad he hasn't continued to suggest injecting disinfectants.

He's looking for a magic pill that will solve all his problems. He thinks he's smarter than everyone else and someone has convinced him this will work. 

 

It's not for financial gain (the drug) but for his ego.

therapy not cure AND you are neglecting the scientists who said the risks associated with taking the drug did not outweigh potential benefits, ie. it is linked to heart problems. 

So yeah there might be some science that says it can help with the symptoms but there's also negatives associated with it and it isn't really recommended as a treatment, and it's certainly no kind of preventative measure.
