Hello Bomber Fans!

I'm just wondering if anyone knows about any flight/hotel/game tickets for the grey Cup from WPG?

Fingers crossed, many of us might want to be there!

Yep.  Still doesn't hurt to start looking now though.  I expect that there will be plenty of tickets from rider fans going on sale right away!

hey fellas -- for what it's worth, the Stamps ticket people are desperately trying to sell tix to the game. They phoned and emailed me earlier this week because I'd purchased Bombers/Stamps tix this year, and were offering me all sorts of incentives. There will be no shortage of tickets available. Just gotta find your way out west here... hope to party with you all at "Bombers House" which will be at Hudson's downtown, and at Touchdown Manitoba on the Stampede grounds Friday afternoon!

Gonna try and find something cheap. If the bombers were to pull this off and I didn't go I'd never feel right.

Trying to work out the logistics but looks like I'll be going.  Cannot wait!

Hopefully the bombers will announce info on a charter asap so people can get organized.

I'm sure there will be some good tickets for sale on Kijji calgary.

Are they trying to dump the premium add ons?

I'm possibly headed west too.   Just need to see if I can get the time off work to go!  Be great to share a brew with you all in Cowtown!

Strategies for getting tickets to the game at a really good price? I plan on waiting again until the weekend like for the West semi-final, I feel like I obviously won't go get tickets for 40 bucks, but there's no way I'm going to pay more than $100 for a single to a game with no Calgary no Saskatchewan no Edmonton

Right downtown and I believe Dave is right that it's on 5th or near there. Google Map it... They have a decent house brew. We have a 40th bday party Sat but we'll be there Friday for sure... 

I got my flights (great WestJet deal at the time) and hotel (downtown is expensive) but need game tix.

We will prolly wait until we get to Calgary to sniff around for tix. Definitely looking for something on the Bombers' side of the stadium.

I'm not sure if the Bombers will have a charter but it's entirely possible that WestJet or Air Canada will add flights from the Peg. 

There’s lots of options so far but not a lot of discounting yet.

Definitely interested in going if its possible to do it on the cheap....Typical Winnipegger I am.

I'm already nervous and sick for the game. 

I'm gonna take the family to see the fireworks this week, and Friday check out the spirit of Edmonton and other parties with my rider friend. I want to soak it all in.

Apparently Kijiji no longer sells tickets, you'll need to use Stubhub or some other ticket resale site/app.

If they were posted before August, they can stay up. Or, they're tricking the "system".

Question for those out in the YYC... 

I'm thinking about driving out with my son. I would drive out Saturday and drive back on Monday. 

 

There are much cheaper, decent hotels out near the airport. Since I would only be going to the game, I would need to get from the airport area to McMahon on Sunday and then back to the hotel. I would likely want to take an Uber or whatever. Is this feasible? Or would trying to get across the city be too crazy. I would try to leave early for McMahon on Sunday and not try to rush back after the game. 

 

Thoughts or suggestions? I would fly but that would add a ton of costs and doesn't work well with our extracurricular activities.
