I still get more excited about this game than almost any other one on the schedule, even though we get our asses kicked pretty much every year. The prospect of going into Regina and beating them on Labour Day just makes it feel like Christmas morning.

The Bombers have had 7 starting quarterbacks for the LDC in the last decade, including Chris Streveler today. Let's see what the kid can do.

That's a bad QB decision.  Literally nowhere to get that ball to Roosevelt, Hecht over top and Rose with inside leverage.

A young qb like Streveler is having a difficult time finding open receivers looking straight ahead. Then having him turn his back, fake, turn around & then find open guys again is just stupid. Nichols can do it but not Streveler. In other words, we're running the Nichols offense which is also stupid. 

O-line is getting caved in today.

What is with the straight dropbacks? 

100 percent Nichols O. Strev is staying in the pocket.. Lapo made him a pocket passer. 

Streveler has had zero time MOSTLY but even when he does have time, he's doing nothing. I'm a huge CS fan, but I'm ready for McGuire...

Yep, IMO his reads aren't bad when he gets a chance, but clearly more comfortable on the move.  Shocked we aren't running any max protect and rollouts to cut the field in half for him and let him use his legs if it is there.  Don't think we're going to win anything from the pocket and no misdirection, with any of our QB's.  There's no QB in the league right now that's a good enough passer to run what Lapo is running.

Using Demski as an H-back...he can't block FFS.  Put Miller there or Petermann.

Brilliant strategy, legcuff a running QB by making him stand still.

Lapo falls in love with running Augustine inside, looks like Johnny has some speed maybe change the calls up a bit.

Simplify... Roll right & left. Cut the field in half. Only read one side of the field. Streveler can then use his legs more effectively. Only a couple of reads.
