GAME 6 | WINNIPEG BLUE BOMBERS (5-0) at HAMILTON TIGER-CATS (4-1)
THE 4-1-1
Kickoff: 6 p.m. CT Friday, Tim Hortons Field, Hamilton
TV: TSN, RDS, ESPN+
Radio: 680 CJOB
Vegas line: The Ticats are favoured by two points.
Home/Road: The Bombers are 2-0 on the road this year with wins in Vancouver and Ottawa. Winnipeg is 4-1 in its last five road games, the lone blemish a loss to Edmonton in the 2018 regular season finale in which a number of the team’s starters did not play or had limited reps. Hamilton, meanwhile, is a perfect 3-0 at home this season.
Recent history: The Bombers 5-0 start is the third best in franchise history. The 1960 squad opened with 10 consecutive victories en route to a 14-2 record while the 1939 Bombers rocketed to an 8-0 start, finished the regular season 10-2 and then defeated Ottawa to win the second of the franchise’s 10 Grey Cup championships. The Ticats, meanwhile, have opened with a 4-1 record in their first five games for the first time in 21 seasons.
Series: The Bombers are 64-55-0 all-time vs. Hamilton and 27-32-0 at Ivor Wynne Stadium/Tim Hortons Field.

  • I've seen the Bombers play some awful football over the years, so if they wanna blow out everyone the rest of the year, they can go right ahead. Somehow, I'll find a way to manage............

  • Stop whining about blowout victories. Immediately.

Nichols played a lousy game as he himself admitted on the post game. Lapo called a poor game. Turnovers killed us. Those two fumbles on returns cost us 6 points. Oline did not have a great game. Our D

Lol if the bombers only win by 1 point, will they receive any less points in the standings? If they lose, will they be eliminated from playoffs?

Aaaand...you didn't even have to duck for that one.

Nope. And nope.

Will questions linger on the team being pretenders vs contenders?

Will the fan base ***** and moan.

Will the question of Nichols being good enough come up ad nauseum?

Will this board implode on itself and begin cannibalizing their young?

At least if we cannibalize our young, I'm OK. 😂

Thing is..we play a clean game and we win in the Hammer...and most likely too if Masoli stayed in..the first series or 2 in a game dont mean whole game would be similar.

Look how many times teams jump out to early 2 score leads and lose..and a lot of the time get right smoked too

Right from the start something seemed "off" in that game..and was uncharacteristic to what this team is..and has been since last year..I wouldn't worry.

I can see an easy convincing win in T.O and then a similar result at home vs CGY.

If we are not 7-1 after 8 games I will be utterly shocked

Some trademarks of this team, when successful......balanced O, few turnovers and good ST's.   All of it lacking, in that one

Melania Trump disapproves of this post....

Oh I heard the HAM qb out for season. I'm now changing this from a L to  W.

Winning the Grey Cup while part of the Eastern conference would be like bragging that you have a 200kmh car because you drove it off a cliff.

I’ll take a Grey Cup any single way we can get it.
