That's low.  Some of these contract bonuses the teams never mean to pay. It's just to get a signature on a contract. Some of these GMs should be Used Car sales Managers instead.

It happens every year. Vets who are more expensive than they are worth and vets who are owed bigish bonuses get cut before camp. Toronto didn't sign an expensive QB either. It's just the way things are.

Jim Popp is a snake. Signs guys to contracts then cuts them when it's difficult to go elsewhere. I'm sure he had no intention of ever paying Van Zeyl.

Nic Kowalski - Every CFL team should pursue this guy. Absolute stud and a Canadian to boot. For the #Bombers... they're fine at SAM, but that being said, Gaitor could move to a traditional DB spot and Konar would solve upcoming ratio decisions 🤷🏻‍♂️

Breaking: CFLPA has issues with the proposed contract and called the League back to the bargaining table. If things aren't ironed out by the end of day today, main camp will be delayed!

Not surprised... it's a wacky idea that will only lead to complication.

EDM is going to be underwhelmed with Dean.

I can't see this lasting long.  All the players have reported. If there is a strike now that would mean teams wouls have the players locked out. They  would have nowhere to go. Or the teams would have to pay to send them home just to fly them back again. I expect this will be resolved quickly.

The bloody lesson is....watch your language!
