But one thing of note, Nichols has not yet beaten Calgary as a Bombers starter as he was resting up last year and noodle LeFevour was sucking out there.  Now seems as good a time as any to change that.

 

Calgary, as usual seems to be having the late season vacation again.  Hopefully they will stay on it for this game so we can clinch the playoff spot.

But on that note, I am not content to simply clinch a playoff spot.  We need to get 3rd in the West and not a crossover.  Our defense always stinks in Tim Hortons Field and TD Place, but if we go into Mosaic we will murder the Riders.  We need to seal the deal and have the WSF as us vs Regina so we can murder them on their home turf and cause their fans to choke on melons during the game.

It’s amazing how efficient the Bomber offence has been putting the ball in the end zone despite being middle of the pack in offence. Was only a coup,e years ago where it would take 6 or 7 Medlock field goals to win games.

Very interesting that most of Paredes FGs are within 20-30 yards

Huge game for both teams.  These are the fun ones to watch as a fan and where you get to really see what kind of team you have.

This is true (despite making Hall look foolish), but it still speaks to the point about the Bombers being more balanced towards the run game.

On the Nichols vs Khari 300 yard argument...Khari did a lot of the huck it up and hope his guys would make the catch..played a high risk high reward style...I recall he had several years of 20+ interceptions and one year almost 30...So sometimes going for all that high yardage comes with risk...also...it's what the receiever does with the ball in his hand after too..comparing yardage is not a good indicator of anything

Same style as Reilly. I just get sick of seeing Mikey throw a skyball with ice on it coming down & one of his receivers make another flukey catch. Just having the Esks miss the playoffs so I don't have to see it again until next June is fine by me.
