Still though that crazy money for a guy who regressed last year,  59 points last year 77 the year before. He is a good player but not 62.4  over 8 good

Did salary caps go way up this year and I miss the news?  I just don't know how these teams can afford to pay these few guys this kind of money and not have to field two lines and two sets of D men made up of AHL scrubs to make up the difference.

He was incredibly inconsistent last season. He got 1/3 of his points in one month and was in a scoring drought to both start and end the season. Finished 43rd in points.

I'm not really sure what I was thinking.  Upon going back and looking at the numbers that does seem like an overpayment for Kuznetsov.  Two seasons ago he was very good but this past season was definitely inconsistent.
