Lets see if we can keep this thread a little more civil.

I found this interview very interesting.  A lot of soft balls thrown at Trump, he explained his back pedalling on his more extreme issues as a lot of his claims as opening bids for negotiation purposes.  Which .. whatever .. I still think that those are insincere claims he used to get elected.

He does now come across way more presidential then he did prior to the election.  A lot of his noise, yelling, and rhetoric has been scaled back.

So... they are complaining that they didn't get witnesses... now they have subpoena power to call who ever they want- at anytime- as a witness, yet they ardently fight against having any witnesses. How is this even registering as a cogent position?

It's like they are saying to the american people...

It's like they are saying to the american people...

In the case of about 40% or so......they are correct.

Republicans freely admit that Trump did what he was impeached for they don't care and don't want witnesses, they need to be reminded about this trial in the future, as for the Democrats this trial was never going to remove Trump from office they need to get back on the campaign trail to win the Presidency, but more importantly they need to really go after the Senate.
