Word has it he refused to sign his contract because it brought him too close to the action.
As I said last season, Micah Teitz was our most outstanding player. As in he was mostly out there standing.

Works both ways but the article doesn't mention anything about his agent trying to contact the club, only that the club hadn't reached out until recently.
It does say that he left retirement on the table after the season but at some point had decided to keep playing.  Again, no mention of if/when that was communicated to the team.  More detail about his efforts to communicate would have been nice.

If it’s an incentive based deal with a lower base I’d be good with it. Love what he brings when he’s actually on the field. 

He doesn't need to be a depth guy, just needs some depth behind him that can take meaningful, impactful snaps.

I’m thinking quality CFL DB’s are not a dime a dozen. Really looking forward to seeing who we bring to camp.

Sayles and Walker were both very meh after having Nevis and Stove.... not that those guys are always available, but let's be closer to that than Walker/Sayles...

No concerns that Toronto will be able to put together a good roster if I’m an Argos fan. Will it gel this year in time? Impossible to say. But will they have talent in camp? I don’t know why anyone would assume otherwise. Great scouts over there, especially on defence and they still have a lot of solid pieces in place. 
 
Carnell, McManis, Jones, Ceresna, Metchie, Orimolade … they’ve got the makings of a solid D for sure.

Good for him. I love yoshi, I’m very grateful for every thing he’s done here and I cheer for him as a person. I’m also very very happy he won’t start for us at T any more. He can’t handle speed any more. 
 I bet the riders flip him to guard before the ldc. 

They can agree to terms but the current team will still have 48 hours at the end of the tampering window to try & get a deal done.  No deal is official until FA starts.

Have been watching a lot of Clements games lately on Youtube and it's shocking how much he and Collaros have the same style -- extending plays, throwing pinpoint passes on the run, turning sacks into first downs.  He just saw the field so well and could process the game so quickly.
He didn't have any kind of breakaway speed and wasn't going to win any footraces but the dude was a buttered eel in the pocket.
I'm gonna go vintage for my next jersey too.  Either BATTLE 34 or JONES 35.  Gotta give some love to those eighties linebackers.

I don’t hate that at all. Yoshi gets his cash, Riders get a diminishing asset, Drew Richmond gets a chance to play.
