yup...fresh legs too at the right time....He offers us a nice combo of what we been lacking...Same can be aid for Bailey as well...he showed a lot...and offers valuable defensive reps to keep the old farts fresher...and can play teams...and...he's fresh too
I also am worried he plays a not ready Demski as well...cause I not sure he gonna be totally healthy and with a hammy...one lil tweak again and he's done....with how Smith played on defence...Lawson...Kramdi likely back..we can delegate 2 Canadians for atria on defence and technically not have to have 2 Canadian receivers.....we seen how this dance has gone before playing not healthy recievers in playoffs and it screwed us royally
Run out a Wheatfall...Echols...Pokey..Clercius...Stearns unit ...heavy use of BO and sprinkle in some dual backfield sets with Peterson...even MCI and trust in them to get to the EF with a "healthier" Demski

If Jenkins isn't dressed you can sign me up to the fire MOS crowd. Guy had a whale of a game this week and just looks explosive off the line. Really could be an X factor just in time for the playoffs.

So a few key players didn't finish the game, I imagine anyone who picked up a ding no matter how minor probably got to ride pine though

well firstly on the QB and where the RB is...or motion he showing....you dont know where ball is...or likely to go...bull rushing straight ahead with does you no real good, especially if the lineman just engages you and lets you do it knowing that it will be ineffective
A lot of Jakes problems is he has zero technical skill....hand fighting skills....and cant get off a block to make a play...just last game alone look how many times Woods was engaged and fought off the block to make the play...get in on making it with others, or just disrupting it...Lawson too...Lawson camm bull rush then toss away his lineman and make a play...Jake cant....for yrs now if ever

Bombers run game and defence were impressive yesterday.
What wasn’t impressive was the wind up in the west side upper deck, 16C my ass!

Sports are funny. Here I am looking back on a pretty mediocre season and logically knowing we are probably done in a week, and yet my heart is like...maybe?
If we can surprise the Als I think we can beat the Cats.

I agree about his throwing. He generally throws a pretty tight spiral which is more than I can say for Streveler or even Collaros. On the INT in the endzone, he did have Stearns wide open but tried to feather it to him and off of his back foot to boot. I like his athleticism, too. For his first real action, I thought that he did OK. I also wasn't too impressed with Hogan's play calling but I also think that he should be fired so even if he had called a good game, I'd be still calling for his firing. No brakes to pump regarding Wilson, I don't recall any posters thinking that he was the "second coming."

Nice play call on MCI's big run.  Whole Als secondary was lured to the other side of the field.  

At a minimum Jenkins, Jaworski and Bailey showed a lot of promise.

Luv this kid Peterson......we didn't miss a beat letting Augustine fly the coop
Those new defensive ends made some noise and a case for sticking around
Wilson.....competent to cold....Sad for Streve .....I think he's done

He has the odd game with the yips but it never seems to become a rough streak. If any thing it makes me think he will be at his best for the play offs wanting to bounce back

....but seriously, that offense was repulsive, but it was fun watching the next generation of D and ST. Awesome to get to double digit wins for like 9 years in a row...
Excited for playoffs, but whatever happens, I'm stoked for next year too.

I don't hate this (as painful as it will be to watch most likely).  We're going to be showing Montreal very little and giving some key guys a rest.  I hope they give Smith & Shay a lot of reps, even if they aren't starting (same with Terry Wilson).

So the game is meaningless from our end as we can't pass Calgary and BC. Its the ESF for us. To me, they should sit Zach to keep him healthy. I'd also like to see Shay and Smith gets reps at linebacker. Call me crazy, but it would be nice to see our two high draft picks get actual reps on D.

I was wondering what Mace said to O'Shea at the end of the game -  "what more did you want us to do to let you win this game?  Have our guys run the ball into our own endzone and let your guys fall on it?"  What an embarrassment, that these guys could barely beat the Riders "C" team. 

Yup, I'm completely with you on this. If the motto is make sure certain starters are not hurt before the playoffs, play him. It's the perfect time to see what he's got, not only for the playoffs in case he's forced into play, but for the future. Like a mini try-out.
But I also read from some around here that they believe he doesn't have the necessary tools to play as a starter in this league. Let's say that's true and the BB's also think that way then to me that's even more frustrating and suggests that someone in the coaching/management/scouting department needs to step up their game.

Y'know, I just typed out a whole thing about how I listened to the CJOB post game and at no point did Zach or Brady say anything bad about coaching....
....and then I stopped and thought about it. And y'know what...? Maybe they did actually. In the moment it sounded to me like they were taking personal responsibility for the offense being ****.... But actually what they were saying was "the offense was terrible. The D and ST were great and we have to be better on offense"
Now, Zach did call himself out personally... Said that he needed to be better and that he thought his own play was bad. But... Now that I think about it, it is possible they were throwing the offense, as a whole, under the bus....

Zach was diplomatic but clearly unhappy with both the team's execution and the play calling on the post game. Brady on OB didn't come out and say Hogan's playcalling is awful and they should can him but he was clearly not happy.
Yes, this is inferring on my part. Hamilton clearly hears things we don't. Those expecting to actually hear any player on this team flat out say the OC is terrible, the scheme is terrible and that the players are unhappy are going to be waiting till Hell freezes over. However clearly all is not right at PAS.

I think the third quarter stats are the most damning evidence against Hogan. Lack of talent and execution is one thing, but getting consistently out adjusted out of the locker room to that degree is all on the coaching staff.

Better idea... start Zach let him get hurt and out for the season.   Play Strelever until 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter and give Wilson one series where he hands the ball off twice.     In the first half of the play off game Strev will get hurt by pointlessly bull rushing the D.  Wilson then comes in completely cold with no real reps and looks rusty and we end up losing the game.   O'Shea then when asked what they could have done differently. He will then answer by doing this face: 

That’s the most puzzling thing, they’ve gone to predominantly quick release stuff in 2 games this year (@ Mtl, vs Ham) and had success with it.
In the Hamilton game it opened up some deeper stuff to Pokey and even Mitchell that worked. 
They don’t have the OL, WRs or arguably the QB to run the watered down version of Bucks offence they’ve been using most of this year.
