I think the days of Collaros running the O are coming to an end, he's had a great career and clearly can't do what he has done in the past game in game out. Also he really needs to think about his health body and mind after football.
The O line has it's struggles but if the first read is not there for Collaros he panics and gets sacked fairly easily.
Maybe time to really find out what Brown can do for the rest of the year and if he is the guy for years to come

Some of these posts lately, I am envisioning a MBB Fight Club starting. Lol.
Zach is clearly regressing and did not play well yesterday.

I finally had a quiet evening that allowed me to fully watch the game on PVR and rewind and rewatch many of the plays.
Whoever said that we are screwed without Zach is a troll and needs to be kick/banned. My god was he awful tonight. NIGHT and DAY difference between him and Harris. Harris had a lot of blitzes and pressures on him and was able to find a hot read and/or get the ball out quickly. Zach is glacially slow on his reads , he had what 4 sacks on him in the first half alone?
It feels like the ratio is 5 bad plays for every 1 good play. Lots of lame ducks and passes that are off the mark or thrown a second too late. What the hell is going to happen "if" we are deep in the play offs and he has to play in wind, his passes are already off with good weather.
Brown came in and on his 2nd throw he was pressured and he immediately tossed it to Singer for a big gain. That throw alone was better then anything Zach did all night. I think at this point Perkins would outperform Zach. I also did not catch why he left the game? He didn't take a big hit, was it his head?
All I know is that without Brady this team would be f''''''''''''''d.

Difference being Ray always threw that way. Zach is slowly losing zip in the ball.

It would seem counter-intuitive to hire a guy to turn around the Bombers whose last winning season was during Jake Thomas' rookie year

Thought the last 3 minutes it was back to the 20 second clock.

did enough to win, i don’t think we would’ve beat any one else with this effort

He is coming off back to back 1000 yard seasons. Why the fack would we not want him over corn on the cobb?
Jeeze people on here were talking about a return of Schoen a week ago... Lewis is far more realistic of an option.

Jay Walker. The one that got away.

Elgersma would absolutely do way worse than Brown.

Elgersma would absolutely do way worse than Brown.

Elgersma would absolutely do way worse than Brown.

Brown had a real bad game. Sure the play calling/ OL play don’t help but you guys act like he’s infallible lmao. He was arguably the biggest reason the Bombers lost.
That first interception in particular was the result of a very poor throw. The others were just bad decisions. He could have been picked off a couple more times too.

Probably for the best.

The point is we filled up our receiving core. There was no one we avoided signing because we thought Schoen was coming back. The most likely scenario is that he never plays again. He certainly won't be a game breaker if he's able to mount some sort of comeback.

Cobb with the winning 2 pointer must be driving some ppl into mental institutions. Kramdi also stepped the **** up. Damn Canadians.
Also should prob give the coaches credit for the comeback. Ifbyou gonna blame em for everything then obviously they gonna get some props when we win. But why do that and accept you are just a fan.

I guess a bunch of us should have shut our yaps and waited until the end. Eating my crow sammich now
There are only a few guys who crap on Kramdi and it's only because they are too stubborn to admit they wrongly assessed him a few years ago when he was a rookie
Most road wins are for most teams. I guarantee Ottawa was very highly motivated tonight. This was the definition of a trap.

More likely he takes a blind side hit from the left side and gets injured, unfortunately. That's based partly on his injury history, partly on the number of hits he took in Ottawa, but mostly on the fact that our o-line sucks.

Then he retires on a positive note.

O sells better than D

the ball was 7 yards short of him, if he kept running it would’ve been 15 yards short

Hope that's the case!

Pretty much 2 guys being used to not have legit guys get hurt throwing.....He will get some bad guidance tho and waste a good portion of his summer waiting...doing a workout here...or there...maaaaaybe a mini camp or go to an OTA...and at same time earn zero dollars....and that be that...show up in 2027 2 yrs delayed and behind in development
Or he sucks up his pride and is up here post labour day...gets on the PR and starts to learn things...maybe get on roster back half of yr and then can be a legitimate participant in 2027 camp as a possible QB 2 candidate....

He's been here since 2014 and won his first grey cup in 2019. Thinking he had something to do with that talent.

Exactly. Lots of hype for a guy that may not even make a CFL roster never mind the NFL.
