  1. That was the only way I could reason it, but wasn't sure.
  2. Bauming's comment confuses the hell out of me.
  3. Players dropping like flies this year.
  4. He was 0-4 with his starting QB. Ironically enough, Lapo has never had a successful offence as a HC. The only time he won more than 4 games in a season is in 2011, when we had the swaggerville defence.
  5. If TSN wants to cough up the dough.... they seem to have cut pretty much everything from broadcasts...
  6. I’ve heard Hardrick say multiple times that he is going to play until they rip the jersey off his back. That said, I’d expect he stays on his side. Why create two problems instead of one?
  7. Yup, that is true. I definitely didn’t put 2+2 together on that one. I am 100% unconcerned about that scenario though.
  8. I agree, but I also doubt we're going to sign his replacement and get another 5+ year perennial all star. Also have to prepare for signing a stop gap while we develop our long term plan. Again - I'm sure we have plan A, B, and C we're pursuing.
  9. I don't know if I'd say they control their destiny if they need us to lose games to get 1st. We are 3 wins up.
  10. I think any succession planning is going to involve having plan A, B, C, and D lined up. We don't know who's going to be in FA when the time comes after all.
  11. I didn’t say he was our starting LT next year. I acknowledged that he is one of a few tackles we’ve brought in this Year with a clear eye towards the future.
  12. 100% Weve brought in a few tackles now. And I don’t see big Stan coming back next year.
  13. Definitely bringing in lots of tackles to get their feet wet before next year.
  14. Ehhhhh….this is where coaches - even the good ones - get themselves in trouble. Hire the guy you know, keep the same players rather than try to upgrade. I would not want Lapo back here either. I don’t think it matters. Just rooting for a good game.
  15. That’s the risk! Im sure he’ll be drafted high on name and pedigree. He does look like he has the tools - I’ve heard Canadian media (Arash probably?) say he’s not as athletic as Nathan.
  16. He’s just honest about his feelings. It is very similar and people should extend more grace to him as a human being - but there is a giant chasm between that and rubbing into an opposing team/fan base.
  17. I don’t cheer for Hamilton. But a win for them does increase the chances of blocking the cross-over for the Riders, so…
  18. We are 3 games ahead of BC. We would have to go 0-4 and they would have to go 4-2 to get ahead of us. I understand there are still a few combinations involving ties and the season series. But we have 4 games left and an extra win basically seals it.
  19. This is a school thanking one of our scouts for watching a practice.
  20. Ok, but at the end of the day - they are supposed to be adults and professionals. What would happen at your job if you sucker punched a co-worker?
  21. This is the point. He was open about it - and TSN openly discussed it as a positive thing that helped him. It was good dialogue.
  22. Again - the only one who could have shared that information is Dane himself. If he wanted it a secret, it would have been.
  23. If TSN is talking about it - it’s because he talked about it. Some people want to limit the stigma by being open and honest about mental health struggles.
