  1. Just giving up on a starting QB for nothing. That was egregious.
  2. He talks up his own offensive genius in this article like he wasn’t the guy sending Brock Ralph out on a reverse 5 times a game.
  3. So, I recall these events differently. As I remember it, we signed Bryant immediately. And we were ALSO trying to get Sir Vince. Same long cock attitude, of course.
  4. He has 2 return TDs this year, right? Seems like everyone is taking crazy pills.
  5. I don't remember a single game from the first three years at the new stadium. We were so bad I was black-out drunk by halftime every game. I remember Buck throwing that first interception...then it get hazy...and then suddenly it was 2016.
  6. He is the sole reason I am a football fan and will always be the best in my eyes.
  7. Or he could have never played a down in the CFL.
  8. I mean, we can't just bump everyone up a spot. They all have completely different jobs.
  9. I'm always curious why they were released. Trust that Walters has the skinny.
  10. Only exciting part about every team he played on.
  11. The fact that he's not up there makes me wants to burn the whole thing down - but the topic was guys from the current team.
  12. Doug was the same. Working on conditioning drills off field every day and always hitting up the gym in addition to practices. I remember on Doug Browns radio show he used to do (was it with Steve Morley?) - it was the week of the 2011 Grey come and he was talking about being so pumped up he was going to do an additional weight training session that week, so he asked (Steve?) how many sessions he was going to do: Steve: Uhm, maybe 2? Doug: WHAT?!?! I normally do three. I'm going to do 4 this week.
  13. That's another thing, Walby played for the Bombers for 16 years. I have a high bar for RoH. The ideal is the Walby's, Stegall's, Brown's. Among the best of their position in history with long careers entirely with the Bombers.
  14. Walby is the best at his position to ever play. He absolutely should have been first.
  15. But they don't have Zach - they have a run first QB. Instead of wasting resources on deep threats, they should have found team first guys who can run block, draft OL like it's the only position, and maximize what they have, rather than trying to turn Cofaj into something he's not. That includes coaching. They bring in Maas who they felt was the best OC as opposed to one who could work with talent they have.
  16. Demski is one of those guys who's not there yet, but still has time to do special things. Ring of Honour discussions are hard, because it is the highest honour. Not making it isn't an insult, you need to be the top of the top and have had team success. We can't put every talented role player up there. And I also don't love the idea of guys who have only played for the Bombers for 2ish seasons - especially if they've had long careers for other teams. Bryant is the only player who could retire tomorrow and has already done enough, imo.
  17. But they should have been doing this for the past three seasons. It's wild how terribly they've been run. 100% needs to start with O'Day. He is responsible for bringing in all the crap.
  18. It was 2002, not 1962. I think the athletes were just fine.
  19. The 2001 stats are actually really comparable: https://www.statscrew.com/football/stats/t-CFLWPG/y-2001 https://www.bluebombers.com/team-stats/
  20. I don't know if I can put Jefferson there. Bighill probably same - just spent too much of his career in BC. Bryant and MOS are already locks. I'd like to see Collaros play for a couple more seasons - I know the Grey Cups are amazing, but this is going to be his second season with us (and first 18 game season). There has to be some longevity to a RoH spot.
  21. Sure. Not my job though. My job is to ***** and moan why I can't buy tickets for the West Final yet.
  22. I'd like to point out that after beating Edmonton, we just need to win one game against BC to get to 15 wins and set a new team record.
  23. Toronto has higher swings. When they're bad, they're bad, when they're good, they're good. Montreal is just as inconsistent of course, but I don't think their upside is as high as TO's.
  24. Jeffcoat has obviously been dealing with something all year, so I don't know if we every get him at 100%. But hopefully they can get him some rest and he can gut it out for play-offs. Wilson's been gone so long I don't really expect him back. He hasn't started practicing and would need some time to get into game shape after that...might be a pipe dream. I always expected Ellingson back but again, it's again, it's been so long. That went from being such an awesome signing to a huge disappointment. Hope he's ok.
  25. I'm really hoping they've planned that out already. Like a Dickenson-esque succession plan.
