  1. That's another thing, Walby played for the Bombers for 16 years. I have a high bar for RoH. The ideal is the Walby's, Stegall's, Brown's. Among the best of their position in history with long careers entirely with the Bombers.
  2. Walby is the best at his position to ever play. He absolutely should have been first.
  3. But they don't have Zach - they have a run first QB. Instead of wasting resources on deep threats, they should have found team first guys who can run block, draft OL like it's the only position, and maximize what they have, rather than trying to turn Cofaj into something he's not. That includes coaching. They bring in Maas who they felt was the best OC as opposed to one who could work with talent they have.
  4. Demski is one of those guys who's not there yet, but still has time to do special things. Ring of Honour discussions are hard, because it is the highest honour. Not making it isn't an insult, you need to be the top of the top and have had team success. We can't put every talented role player up there. And I also don't love the idea of guys who have only played for the Bombers for 2ish seasons - especially if they've had long careers for other teams. Bryant is the only player who could retire tomorrow and has already done enough, imo.
  5. But they should have been doing this for the past three seasons. It's wild how terribly they've been run. 100% needs to start with O'Day. He is responsible for bringing in all the crap.
  6. It was 2002, not 1962. I think the athletes were just fine.
  7. The 2001 stats are actually really comparable: https://www.statscrew.com/football/stats/t-CFLWPG/y-2001 https://www.bluebombers.com/team-stats/
  8. I don't know if I can put Jefferson there. Bighill probably same - just spent too much of his career in BC. Bryant and MOS are already locks. I'd like to see Collaros play for a couple more seasons - I know the Grey Cups are amazing, but this is going to be his second season with us (and first 18 game season). There has to be some longevity to a RoH spot.
  9. Sure. Not my job though. My job is to ***** and moan why I can't buy tickets for the West Final yet.
  10. I'd like to point out that after beating Edmonton, we just need to win one game against BC to get to 15 wins and set a new team record.
  11. Toronto has higher swings. When they're bad, they're bad, when they're good, they're good. Montreal is just as inconsistent of course, but I don't think their upside is as high as TO's.
  12. Jeffcoat has obviously been dealing with something all year, so I don't know if we every get him at 100%. But hopefully they can get him some rest and he can gut it out for play-offs. Wilson's been gone so long I don't really expect him back. He hasn't started practicing and would need some time to get into game shape after that...might be a pipe dream. I always expected Ellingson back but again, it's again, it's been so long. That went from being such an awesome signing to a huge disappointment. Hope he's ok.
  13. I'm really hoping they've planned that out already. Like a Dickenson-esque succession plan.
  14. He's obviously not a good QB, but he could be effective if they built around him. Why every team doesn't follow Walters' method of over-drafting OL, I'll never understand. And Maas does not seem to utilize his strengths at all. There are so many shitty teams and QBs that the Riders should easily be able to walk into the play-offs, they just can't get out of their own way.
  15. I am also quite a bit heavier than I was at 22.
  16. Look at the QB stats this year. It’s a mine field. We desperately need a talent influx.
  17. They would have done it already if they were going to before the season ended. There was one report that stated OSEG doesn't want to play two coaches - so there's probably hope that the team will show something late in the year so they can keep Lapo on. But there's no way they can sell that.
  18. Suuuuper impressed with BOLO
  19. He’s had some bad injury luck (and covid) that have kept him from that 1k season. He’ll get it though.
  20. Reminder that when we’re complaining about the official, we’re not complaining about the guy making the call, we’re complaining about the whole crew.
  21. I was gonna argue your first post but….
  22. Big Willie starting with some burst!
  23. They’re either going to miss completely or get bounced in the East semi, guaranteed.
  24. I think the difference between this year and last is injuries. We had unreal health luck last year.
