Yeah Montreal doesn't look good, but Manziel is NOT the problem. He was 5 for 8, but those 3 were catchable. He has almost no offensive line protection.

Rumblings in the media that Manziel will sign a multi year extension with the Al's. Interesting.

Friday IS a must win. Not in the statistical sense, of course, but it's one of the winnable games against a sub .500 team. As for Kaepernick...I'd be shocked if he wins his lawsuit. The question is - did the owners collude against him? That's hard to prove, and I doubt they did. (Some of them just don't want to bother with the baggage).

1. I, for one, will NEVER give up on my team. 2. It is easy to follow a winner like the Patriots. (I liked the Patriots way back in the mid '70's when they had little Mack Heron - but I do follow other teams too). 3. My guess is that Nichols starts against Montreal, but is on a shorter leash. 4. I am a little concerned about the Bombers seemingly lack of signing some NFL cuts.

The real question is what happens if we make the playoffs - crossover is the only realistic possibility at this point...or even win a playoff game.
