I'm surprised at how poorly this game has been marketed to be honest.
I've heard ads for it over here on Saskatchewan radio.

Any know what the Vegas Odds/Spread is for this game? Rumour was it could be the most one-sided of any game this year!

I am still waiting though for them to complain about Streveler's sub 100 passing yards game lol.
Ha!

It might be reasonable to hope that Nichols passes for 300 + against Argos and Streveler passes/runs for 50 or more.
(But passing yards are meaningless)

Years of having bad to mediocre teams has made us afraid of losing to bad teams but we will obliterate the Argos.
Knowing how O'Shea/LaPolice roll, they will probably just stop throwing the ball when they get to 30 points.

I predict Nichols passes for 300+ yards! 😉

My take away this week is the the bell tv guy better show up this week and get my tv working..... the radio is fun but 4 weeks in is too much now...
If it's been 4 weeks already, I'd think I'd fire Bell!

Calgary's O line owned the Riders D line...and Calgary's D line owned the Riders Oline. They say the game is won in the trenches.

Calgary is back.
Winnipeg better keep winning because if we have to go into Calgary for a Western Final in November, I don't like our chances. We need to finish first!

This sure looks like the Stampeders we have come to know.
Yes, sadly. I've said all along that the stamps are STILL the team to beat in the west.

This is a tough one. I despise both teams but I guess I must cheer for the Stamps. 🤢😝
No way am I cheering for the Stamps. No way. Calgary is a FAR greater threat to the Bombers chances of finishing first. Think Dickinson, Hufnagel, and yes, BLM/Arbuckle.

B.C. is playing so bad, they are almost making Toronto look competent...and that is hard to do.
This game may end in a 6-6 tie ( we'll give each team a field goal in the 2nd half too).

I never saw Streveler take the time to look beyond his first read even once, the RB's pass rush was not forcing him to hurry so not sure why he's so quick to take off. At this point Streveler is morphing into LeFevour.
I agree

I believe it was on 1290 radio when the signing was announced. If memory serves, the comment was that Jefferson in Regina had the freedom to go where he wanted and the rest of the front 7 had to compensate. There was speculation as to whether he would still be given the same license with he Bombers.
Yes, this jives with what I heard out of Regina last year too.

If I was the opposition defensive coordinator I would send the house on just about every other play against Nichols.

Rotator cuff injuries used to be career ending. Just ask Harry Knight.
Now there's a name I haven't heard for a long, long time...Harry Knight (Brock's predecessor, wasn't he?)

and not to mention he's never had a 400 yard game... against anybody, ever...
Nichols is a game manager. That's what he is and always will be. Sometimes I love it, and sometimes I hate it, but that's the way he is. He has the tools around him this year to win on any given night.

Get lost Suitor...Franklin isn't a project... he was supposed to take over.
A little hard to judge Franklin considering the offensive line ( and team) he's playing with.

There is a reason Fajardo has been a career back up till now..he's not that good.
Agreed, that we need a bigger sample size on Fajardo...but don't rule him out just because he wasn't a starter his first 3 years...for further explanation see Jeremiah Masoli.

Mostly in Canadian Tire money, I would think.
They are phasing that out by the end of 2019... someone should tell Chris so he can cash out😎

Entertainment dollars getting very dear these days with people struggling to put food on the table.
I'd have to agree. Prices on everything seem to be going up and up including cable bills (Bell etc.) which funds the multi- million dollar athletes in the big leagues. That, and the fact that a lot of young people don't watch much live sports anymore.

Passing yards wise, maybe not. But he is efficient. Yes, I would rather have BLM or Reilly here (at a lesser salary), but Nicholls doesn't throw too many picks and fits our system. I'm saying he throws at least 4 TD's on Friday...
