[Blue Bomber Talk] Early thoughts on 2015 CFL Draft
Goalie replied to Mike's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I agree with Groulx also right now, Just makes sense, we seem to have quite a few interior oline guys plus a couple "prospects" in Everett and Goossen even. Not much at the tackle spot. Groulx could be that guy. -
[Blue Bomber Talk] Early thoughts on 2015 CFL Draft

Lots of Oline in the upcoming draft. A few will get NFL shots for sure tho, Boyko definitely. But, I could see how they maybe take a oline at 11 and someone else at 2. Last year they took 2 oline, Goossen at 2 and Everett much later, round 4 or later maybe? Can't recall but just because they say they plan on taking 2 OLINE, doesn't mean they need to take one in round 1 and 2. I disagree with the blog a bit, I do indeed see them going for an OLINE at 2, however, if free agency comes and they sign a guy like Holmes or let's say Heenan even, Things could possibly change. What if they sign both? Lots of variables first. Gotta see what happens in free agency, then i will probably go more in depth about what i think will happen at the draft but as things stand right now, January 10th, I do see them going Oline at 2. If they sign Heenan or Holmes even, i could see them going after the best available DL or Receiver at 2 for sure and then grabbing that oline at 11, surely one or 2 will be there still. I also see them taking an oline later in the draft and that oline going back to school much like Quinn Everett did. Waud is quite the specimen, but again, what if Bilukidi or Mulumba come north.. So many variables still, draft is so far away still.. so much can happen between now and then. -
Ya. Pav played well last game. Had no chance on heck I'd say all 4. Maybe the last one he could have but was a nice play by the Coyote. Pav made probably 10 big saves last night. Played well enough to win. The team in front didn't tho.
-
Team is better overall but injuries have caught up.
-
Jets have lost 4 of 5 now. Hutch in goal for 3 of those I believe. Don't matter who in net if the team in front of him don't show up. Jets owned tonight. Easily could have been 8 9 to 1. Pav made the game closer than it was. Ppl need to stop with the goalie bs. It's the team not just one guy.

Coyotes aren't good, They are in the MCEICHEL sweepstakes for sure and if rumors are true are looking to unload some money and go full on rebuild. Guys like Vermette,Yandle,Doan even may not be long for Zona anymore. Jets should beat them, they are better than the Coyotes.

That tweet is Chris Greaves saying good luck to Mike Renaud Ahh i see. Well, guess i missed that lol.

Why did he ask it? Because Kessel took zero responsibility for the coach being fired. It's really that simple. I'm not sure why people are sticking up for Kessel here. The guy is in the first year of a contract that pays him 8 million a year, he's being paid 10 million this year actually. He took zero responsibility for the coach getting fired. He is the face of that team, whether he likes it or not and should show some darn leadership instead of sulking and crying. This isn't the first time Kessel has been a ****** either, it's not even the second, his character and work ethic has been question before. When Claude Noel was fired, every Jets player to a man stood up there and said, it was their fault that Noel was fired, Kessel didn't even come close to saying anything like that. Do some google searches on the history of Phil Kessel and coaches and you will see that the reporter had every right to ask that question.

i really don't see how renauds tweet indicates he has retired. Maybe i'm missing something there tho.. Just seems like a tweet to a friend he saw earlier in the day but didn't say Congrats on the retirement.

and then they go out and lose like 5 or 6 to 2 to Washington. lol.

Official Feed @CFL 50m 50 minutes ago .@RickMoffat reporting that SJ Green has rejected a contract offer from the @MTLAlouettes. #CFLFA15 I wouldn't go after him, Let Ottawa overpay.

Riders release; Bombers sign Dominic Picard

Morley got ejected in one game so that may have skewed his penalty minutes somewhat...I think it was against the Riders.. Maybe but GBills quote was saying Morley lead the league in penalties, not penalty minutes. Not sure there is a penalty minutes in football exactly. It's not like they get called for Holding and sit out for 2 minutes. -
Kessel does come across as a me first type of player tho, Regardless of the question and i suppose it was a bit dickish but Kessels answer was just as dickish and childish. Like it or not, Phil Kessel is a pro athlete and earlier in the day his ex coach Ron Wilson came out and mentioned how Phil goes on a run for 2 weeks and then does nothing for 2 weeks, Not sure if people have paid attention to Phils career but that's what he does, He's not the most likable guy either. He's being paid the big bucks for a reason, they expect him to show up every game and compete, he doesn't do that. Is that a coaching issue? is that a laziness issue? is that just who phil kessel is? Who knows but his career tells me that Phil Kessel is what he is, he can score goals but that's all he does, he doesn't really hustle back, he's kind of a floater, he doesn't really play the system game, he does go MIA for periods of time and he does seem to be a bit uncoachable. How many coaches have been fired now? Keep firing coaches all you want but until you change the players and Kessel is one of those players, nothing changes.

So you're saying that three years in the NFL hampered his development...? He's not a young guy, he's fighting for a spot on one of the best olines in the league, i don't think theres any guarantee he makes that team. Not at the expense of Matte or anyone like that at least. Als have probably the best or one of the best lines in the league, NFL experience or not, it's not the same as CFL experience, Blake hasn't played Canadian Rules Football in how long now? It probably won't be an easy transition for him.

If the zebras don't call it, then it's not a penalty is how it seems to work so regardless, Morley lead the league in penalties by a Center. Morleys snaps i thought weren't as crisp either, seemed to flutter back there, probably one of the reasons he took so many penalties. -
Hall most likely to be new DC (Now Official)

Wonder if BENEVIDES is still in the running because he doesn't want to be reunited with Chapdelaine in SASK. -
Washington around last year. Cortez has lost his aappeal. Tedford is an unknown. If this was the bombers somebody wouldn't be saying what he's saying

Morley obviously was not as good as some of us experts thought. -

As what? Cuz special teams ain't available here. DL coach? Lb coach? Db? Doubt it. -
Blake is 29. Not the same guy who was drafted. Wish him well but I'd expect he might be the injured player. Not convinced he makes the als roster even.
-
Or they draft a guy who does it and can play another spot and Fitz is gone.
-
Or one of the other six dwarves. Grumpy definitely exists. Is there a know it all dwarf?
-
Always one guy who needs to complain.
-
Holmes Heenan Hurl Arakgi maybe a guy like Jordan Sisco too. Possibly Earnest Jackson and maybe an American LB if there is one. Draft? Either Demski or D Groulx from Laval.

Labbe was a very underrated special teamer. With that said, pass on black.
