Honestly, I'm not sure i'd blame the architect for cracks in the concrete, i think that's more poor rushed workmanship than anything else. I guess the way i see this... Architect is responsible for the design of the building... Contractor is responsible for building it BBB is responsible for well, pretty much rubber stamping it. The architect doesn't build the stadium or house for that matter, the contractor does.. This would be like if your basement floor had cracks, you'd blame the architect but in reality, it's the person who poured the floors fault aka the contractor. They are all to blame here, every last one of them... more so i think the architect for a poor design (possibly david asper gets some blame here too) and the contractor aka stuart olson. BBB? hard to blame them, if anything they can be blamed for being inept really, with sheegl a part of BBB at the time, yeah i'm not surprised that they didn't notice or probably more likely didn't care about certain things at the time.

hmm. 7th seems way to low really... means nothing but... regardless BC has beat sask twice who is ranked dead last.... Edmonton has beat ottawa twice who is ranked 8th overall... how are we 7th? we have beaten the worst team but we have also beaten a team who beat calgary and hamilton.. The one time Edmonton didn't play Ottawa, they got embarassed. The one time BC didn't play SASK, they lost too, to OTTAWA... I'd have the bombers around 4th or 5th, I'd put us above Montreal even because we beat them.

I think reality might be, if we keep firing coaches every 2 seasons or so, nobody and i mean NOBODY is going to want to come here. This is part of the problem actually, we are a coaches graveyard, This is why experienced coaches don't want to come here, why would they really. Plus the media here is a problem too, not sure who it was? was it millanovich who turned down a job offer or possibly even a job interview with the bombers cuz he didn't want to deal with our media? I don't get how people think firing coaches is the solution when it's actually part of the problem, a really big part of the problem here. You'd have to replace OSHEA with a rookie cuz no veteran coach is 1. available. seriously name 2. and 2. because only rookies would accept a job knowing they would be done in 2 years.

This whole thing was kind of a mess from start to finish by all parties involved, from Sheegl (god really, again this guy??) to Stuart Olson to Wan, they were all part of the problem. I can't say I'm surprised that this Sheegl guy was one of the guys in charge of BBB inc tho, that right there basically just tells me everything i need to know.

Well, Unlike his coach to the direct west of us, MOS doesn't throw his players under the bus so i wouldn't expect him to come out and say Hurl sucks.

I saw that and that's insane, all for failing to signal. There are rumors out there that suicide was BS and they actually ended up strangling her to death in her cell, they released video footage and conveniently there is nothing on the tape ( as in just basically static)at the time in question, It's pretty obvious they killed her. Lots wrong with this one here, it's pretty crazy actually. Some talk that her mug shot is actually of her dead, lying on the floor instead of up against the wall. Lots wrong with this one here for sure, man it would suck to be black in america. That's for sure.

Strange cuz last week I thought they blocked a punt late in the 2nd against Montreal. Short memories around here. If Mike Kelly visits this forum he must be shaking his head cuz man the guy was Def right about some of the fans mentality.

Swag aka confidence really. I see no issues with players being confident in their abilities and having fun doing it. People can say what they want but that swaggerville D was fun to watch and they were Damn good and the only reason we actually made the grey cup.
-
Ok, when they award the "damn near won the Grey Cup" Cup then swagger away, but somehow, I don't think that's going to happen Again, I don't see how it hindered their play on the field. If anything they probably fed off that energy. I have never understood why people had a problem with Swaggerville. I think for the most part people loved it but like everything there's always 5 10 100 even 1000 people who don't. The vocal minority. Kind of like this forum. It's the vocal minority

Always thought Richard Harris told the d guys to play with Swag. Lenny Walls and Richard Harris may have been the actual guys to start it all tho. Just Jovon and the loud mouths really took it to another level. The swaggerville thing was cool for a while but then the media actually got out of control. The D was the only reason we made the grey cup that season. It was fun. It was fine with me but it did manage to get out of control. Not sure if was because of the players or the media tho. Playing with Swag or Confidence is good. I think those who might not have liked it. Well how do you say this. Let's just say I don't think the younger fans had much issue with it
-
I think part of its in the USA they get a lot more federal funding
-
Oh ok. Andrew Harris then

I think that's one of those times I'd try the convert every time tho. Down by 1 right. Imagine we went for 2 and didn't get it. The pitchfork crew would be having a field day.

Quebec has put in a bid for expansion altho I feel they are more likely going to get a relocated team instead. Florida or something

Cuthbert is the best by far.

It's time for the Riders to start sucking ...

Bet O'shea probably told these media guys earlier in the week also. But our media guys don't always exactly report what's up with the team. Really follow twitter during a practice. Our media guys are non existent. It's actually pretty brutal. Our media coverage here is definitely not good

I didn't realize that the short yard plays cost us the game last night... I mean really, Marve this, Marve that... Brohm did a better job than Marve did on the short yardage sneaks.. It's really that simple. Over analyzing something so ridiculously simple is crazy.. Why when we lose, why is always about Marve? This is the second time now in 2 losses where this whole Marve stuff has come up and it's same old same old. Maybe Marve sucks and people don't want to admit that, maybe he lost his short yardage job cuz he wasn't very good at it.

I don't get how fumbles, blocked punts and things like that are on the coaches, to steal a line from chamblin, the one thing that coaches can't do is play. It's on the players who screwed up. This always blaming coaches after a loss is getting ridiculous. Seriously, so many more topics and ridiculous comments after a loss than after a win. After a win this place is dead quiet, after a loss, everyone seems to become ridiculous and don't think big picture. 2-2 after 4 games, we lost to Calgary and Hamilton... things could be a lot worse.. Sometimes, it's best to just step back a bit, realize we are 2-2 and easily could be 3-1 if not for some brain farts by players.... and just leave it be. Calling out coaches or things like that after losses just gets so old so quick. It happens after every loss but no praise for them when we win.

His skillset is irrelevant if he can't read a D, run first qb's don't last in the CFL very long, they need to be able to sit back there and actually go through their reads, that works in college but it don't work like that in the Pro's really... NFL included. You need to be able to read a D and go through your reads and the little i've seen from marve suggests he has a long way to go. This isn't college anymore. I could see Dominique Davis taking Marves spot before the season ends even. I just think the people calling this a dumb coaches decision need to pay more attention.. Marve wasn't very good on QB sneaks... it's really as simple as that.

Positives: Bass is definitely improving every week, I feel he will be a good one. Wonder how he'd look in the middle actually Richards running over Bennet was nice to see. Willy was solid all game, moved the ball consistently, barely any 2 and outs, less than the stamps had, outside of the INT, he had a very good game, Better than BLM that's for sure Denmark,Adams and Moore all had solid games, Denmark and Adams in particular. Wheres JFG? he's invisible, saw Kohlert blocking quite a bit but JFG seemed invisible. Cotton made chicken salad out of chicken crap at times, not enough touches for my liking but still a solid effort against a very good Calgary front 7 D seems to be getting better every week also, only gave up 312 yards or so to the Stamps, Held mitchell to what? 165, maybe 185 yards passing? The D played well enough to win. Just one other thing, sort of who's our guy really.. Calgary has Hughes,SASK has Chick, Montreal has Cash and Bowman, Edmonton has Sewall and etc.. Hamilton is stacked, Every team has that known Defensive Lineman, maybe 2.. Who is our guy? We don't have that guy do we? Dline and MLB are 2 areas that need to be improved, I feel those 2 areas get improved and we start to make some noises. Who's our big name guy on the Dline? we don't have one. Same with LB.. we don't have a Juwan simpson or bear woods or whoever else. we don't have an impact player like all other teams do.

Or they can see better than some of us are willing to admit and realized Marve wasn't very good at the short yardage QB sneaks?? I mean that is another possibility. Seeing as tho Marve at times has been stuffed short or even barely got the yard or 6 inches needed for the first down, maybe they decided Brohm is actually the better option??? There is that possibility. I get it, people love Marve but really, he hasn't really done much to get all this love yet. He actually hasn't done much of anything and I think he has potential but the guy is not going to be the saviour here or anywhere else. I honestly don't think he knows how to read the D yet, if that ever comes, cuz he does have all the tools, but lots of QBs do seem to have all the tools but are missing the smarts to actually become something more than that 3rd string option QB. I feel Marve needs to learn to read a D first before he becomes anything special, until then he's just another guy with tons of potential but.. perhaps not the smarts. Can disagree all you want but... theres been quite a few QB's like Marve who have come to this league with all this potential but just lacked something, I am starting to feel Marve may be similar. I think he lacks the ability to read the D and until he can do that, if he ever can do that... he's not gonna amount to much at all. Look at a guy like Rakeem Cato, you can actually see him going through his reads while scrambling out there, it's not exactly run first for him, for Marve, it has indeed been run first. He seems to lack the ability to read the D, doesn't go through his reads, if the first guy is covered, he's running and that's exciting and all, but.. it's not really sustainable at all, that big 30 yard run Marve has, well maybe if he actually went through his other reads, maybe it's a 50 yard touchdown instead.

Brohm did a pretty great job yesterday with the sneaks. He actually got more yards than needed on all of the sneaks he did. Marve would get just the yard, barely. This is not one of the dumb coaching decisions, this is one of the good ones actually. Marve almost and has been stuffed on short yardage sneaks a few times going back to last season, Brohm got them rather easily. This was a good decision really. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just complaining for the sake of it.
