Makes total sense. Do get that feeling that the guy likes to pretend he's actually in charge of things the bombers do. I read the blogs for sure but i kinda half roll my eyes while doing so. That might be the master plan for sure but the management and those guys are very high on stuart for sure. Coaches,Management love the guy. I'm not saying that ideally he is a 2nd pairing LHD, nope, ideally he's on the third pair or even the extra d man but i guess what this shows you is truly how weak our left side is... Toby,Stu is considered top 4 in their eyes. Toby is legit altho small but he's a legit d man, probably be an ideal 2nd pairing guy, stu is ideally a 3rd pairing guy... It just shows the lack of depth really on the left side and for that reason and others, i think at the draft they will look for a left handed d man, not sure if it will be with the first pick or the second pick of the first round but... definitely think they target a lhd man with one of those picks for sure. Kylington could be that guy if he falls, Chabot is another to keep an eye out for.

I hope nobody other than LIRIM lol gets handed a starting job, everybody should have to beat someone out... If they do, great. If guys are just handed jobs, that's not so good. With that being said tho, i think there are definitely a couple (10 12 15) guys there that are guaranteed spots.

It is interesting to see Randle at SAM but... i'm going to keep in mind that it's just a training camp depth chart right now and might not mean too much once all i said an done. Some interesting names in interesting places for sure. Gotta think several will be let go after rookie camp so perhaps it changes some things around more.

Haven't won a cup in ages but.. it's not like the team has totally sucked the entire time too, yup there were some tough years, for sure no doubt about it but there was also some years where we were or darn near were the best team in the league but just lost the big game, didn't a 14-4 bomber team lost to an 8-10 calgary team in the grey cup? We have been to grey cups, how many in the last 20 years i'm not sure but it's atleast 3 that i can remember. The team the last few years (since the kelly year) and even then we were what? 7-11? not terrible but not great, had a chance to get in the playoffs the last game of that year too but blew it huge time, but... since then yeah its been tough, the mack years were tough altho we did go to the grey cup against bc and lost... SO really, it's not like we have been doormats for 20 years, we have had damn good teams over the years, have been to the cup a few times for sure, just never won it. People acting like we have been terrible for 20 plus years, it's not really true at all, we just haven't won the last game of the year, but we have definitely had some damn good teams over that time and definitely had several chances to win the grey cup but ultimately came up a bit short.

I honestly would have no issue with them starting 8 9 10 canadians if that's what they decided to do, I mean, i don't think they would start 8 or 9 or 10 if they didn't have too, imo, they(coaches/management) want to win and if starting 8 Canadians means we have a better chance at winning, then so be it. Maybe those starting 8 Canadians or whatever, maybe they are actually better than the americans that were brought in? Nobody ever thinks of that really... Rules are rules and you must start 7 Canadians, If you can start more, it just means that 8th canadian starter is probably better than the american alternative.

I've watched lots of football over the year, CFL, some NFL, even some NCAA and CIS for that matter... the one common theme i see with receivers in every form of american/canadian football? They all drop easy catches at times, even Calvin Johnson.
