It's becoming pretty obvious that our head coach isn't very good at motivation and he's certainly not using our talent to the best of their abilities. Laine Scheif Ehlers dominated. MO was stupid and had to eff with that so he switched ehlers to lw and Laine to RW. Dano prefers RW but mo had him playing lw. It's just stupidity

When you actually think about it... Ehlers is a sophomore. Laine is a rookie to the NHL. Petan played a couple games last year but really.. nhl rookie. Morrissey nhl rookie. Helle? Rookie really to the NHL. Scheif is our veteran young guy and he's like 23 24.

The rebuild didn't really start until maybe 2015. Bottom line.. we made the playoffs. Got swept. Time to actually give the younger guys chances. It's probably year 2 maybe 3 of a full blown youth movement rebuild

I have a hard time blaming Chevy when our most consistent players are the ones we have drafted and developed. We are a draft and develop team. Our vets have been pretty brutal actually. Yet our coach seems to think the vets can do no wrong. Stafford on the PK. Lol. Coaching is a huge problem. Yuuuge. Chevy gonna be here as long as he wants to be.

I think LA are 2 or 3 points up on us with 1 or 2 games in hand. It's not like we are totally out of it but efforts like tonight's tend to make me feel that we are. In reality we are a playoff bubble team... we seem to be kind of showing that. Gonna get in or miss by a few points either way. I have very little confidence that this Maurice coached team can win more than 2 or 3 in a row and I think in order to make it we are gonna have to win 5 6 7 8 in a row eventually

When the worst road team in the league comes in to your arena and hands your ass to you.... problems and they really do start with coaching. You fix it by 1. Firing the coach or 2. Making a significant trade to help your D zone play. We need a defensive d man cuz right now Morrissey is really our only one. Myers would help. But... you need to make a significant change... Stafford hutch whoever else... it doesn't send a message. It's gotta be buff Toby trouba little type of player. I didn't include wheeler because he tries hard every game and since that's unlikely due to expansion draft... your only left with 1 option ... fire Maurice

I agree. We need to upgrade our 3rd pair. Chiarot is awful and Postma is so inconsistent but they don't play that much. Myers back means one of Postma or Chiarot don't play.

Halak clears and heads to the A. Why? Because 4.5 million next year is a lot. A Pav Burmi for Halak Mayfield deal makes some sense. Hutch waived to the A. Pav and Burmi will both be in the khl next year so isles save money next season. Only problem is 4.5 is quite a bit for Halak who since 2014 2015 is 41st in 5 on 5 save percentage. Helle is 8th. Pav is 31st. Keep in mind that's 5 on 5. Seriously if the Jets PK was any good...

Only way it works is halak for either pav or hutch and I don't see that happening. Timing is interesting tho. Halak sporting a not so good 904 save percentage and gets paid 5 million next year.

To many penalties once again. This is not the team who just beat Chicago tho. Maurice's job is to motivate them and have them prepared. They started strong. Jackets adjusted in the first intermission and Maurice didn't. Seen that a few times this year
