It's Official, We're Headed To Regina For The WSF: Show No Mercy On Rider Trolls
If you don't like someone (the metaphorical "you", this comment is not directed at you @SpeedFlex27)... just ignore or block them... some people are starting to sounds like RF mods the way they scream "TROLL" every time someone has a dissenting opinion...

What is your favorite - - EVER - -Bomber VICTORY over the Riders?
not quite the same thing... but a few years ago in a playoff game between Mtl and Hamilton... there was a FG that went up and looked like it had more than enough distance... only to get caught in the wind, stop and move backwards to fall short of the goal line... I think that might have actually been the potential game winning kick too...

Movin' on to take on the Calgary Stampeders!!!!
buy them now and dump them if the Bombers aren't in it... worst case scenario is you lose a few bucks on the re-sale...

Movin' on to take on the Calgary Stampeders!!!!
I absolutely believe the Bombers can beat the Stamps... I'm just not treating it like a foregone conclusion yet... IMO, this year's grey cup is a toss up between the final four teams...any of them could win it and it wouldn't be a shock...

was it the "city" that let them get away or the ownership and poor economic times?... I always cheer for my home town team so when the Jets left I would pick a bandwagon here and there (really got into the Avalanche/Wings rivalry in the late 90s - cheered for the Avs as a fan of Joe Sakic)... but never really found any real passion cheering for a team until they came back...

What is your favorite - - EVER - -Bomber VICTORY over the Riders?
absolutely... that was the game where "offense" (I'm not sure I can legally call what we put on the field that year an offense) took until the after the 3 minute warning to get one first down... I've had season tickets for 15 years and have seen some pretty bad teams (2005 Jim Daley team, 2010 LaPo team)... but at least those teams put up a bit of a fight... 2013 was utterly pathetic... every game we would just go to hang out b/c we all but expected a blow out loss... I feel like that was the low that we needed to get where we are today...

Movin' on to take on the Calgary Stampeders!!!!
This one is going to be a tough one, no doubt... don't forget, Calgary doesn't normally choke until the finals... so we're likely to get their best game this week... remember last year the shomoes went in to Calgary flying and got shut down pretty good... when most pundits were taking Edmonton... Actually last year's moes were very similar to this year's Bombers... I believe they won 5 or 6 to close out the season then went on win win the first playoff game on the road... then went to Calgary with all the perceived momentum...

I don't think there's enough laughing emojis on the planet to express how I feel about this...

What is your favorite - - EVER - -Bomber VICTORY over the Riders?
For most of my young life the Bombers were in the East so outside of the LDC and BB there were not a lot of meaningful wins against them... with that said, it's hard to top being the first team to win a playoff game in their new stadium... probably just the recency effect... the only other one that comes close is the BB in 2013... completely meaningless game and that year's squad was one of the worst Bombers teams I've ever witnessed... but that pathetic Bomber team beating the Riders in the first ever BB at IGF was pretty sweet too...

Around the League: 2018 Season
I think 6 is ok... there are currently 9x7 starters = 63... 10 teams with 6 starters each is 60 starters league-wide... realistically the union is never going allow the league to go from 63 starting jobs for Canadians down to 50...

to be honest... that was actually a pretty brilliant way to take advantage of the system...

Wow, that's six day-1 starters... the only exceptions being Nichols, Masoli, and whoever Mtl trotted out (was it Drew Willy??)

I think about the only thing going against Ottawa... when is the last time a team beat another team 4 times in one season??

Regular Season Bomber News & Discussion
good news would be an understatement... I honestly think Adam Bighill could be the difference between winning and losing...

Game Day Thread- Week Twenty Two, Western Semi-Final: Winnipeg Blue Bombers @ Saskatchewan Riders November 11th, 2018
Honestly... I hope it stays that way... this team always seems to perform better when they're doubted... I hope they're 7 points dogs against Calagry... I hope TSN says we won't be able to score on Cgy... I hope everyone at CFL.ca has Calgary winning... tell this group of guys they can't do it... that's when they're at their best...

Heart Attack City....
LOL... @DougR is starting to remind me of Jon Hamm from this commercial... and I love it!

3 stars plus hh saskacrushed
Even @Ripper admitted it was well overthrown... hitting the goal post is just another convenient excuse for the ones looking for excuses... but the reasonable ones understand what happened in that game...

Around the League: 2018 Season
I know the die-hard, old-schoolers hate this idea... but if there's a 10th team, the ratio needs to be adjusted...

Heart Attack City....
not quite... the clock starts running once the play is whistled in unless a timeout is taken then the clock starts at the snap (like the NFL)... for example: in an NFL game, after a running play, the game clock and play clock start to tick immediately... in the CFL there will be about a 10 second (give or take) delay while the officials are placing the ball, etc... then the play is whistled in and the play and game clock start to run...

I agree that he should've challenged the PI call... and yes they did ask him about that one... O'Shea said from his perspective (watching it live) he didn't think it would be overturned... I guess he didn't get any different intel from the booth...
