Catching up on this thread a day late… unfortunately missed the game and managed to go all day yesterday avoiding the score… finally watched it last night… lots of thought but I’ll take it down to three things… 1) lots of talk about keeping 4 American receivers or finding a US RB, or bring in a US o-lineman … don’t forget the ratio… we still need to maintain 5 Canadians on offense. 2) speaking of the oline… what is Tui Eli up to?… correct me if I’m wrong but I think he can travel within Canada now?… would be a nice addition if he’s available 3) OPI…. Agudosi just needs to start doing things to gain respect… like spitting on players, eye gouging, throwing temper tantrums on the sidelines, and hitting players with their helmet in pre game… once he starts doing all those class acts… he’s get the respect he deserves to avoid OPI calls…

he certainly looks like the down field threat we've been waiting for... we'll see how he looks tonight.

I don't think the Bombers will go PR plucking... it's not how they do business... if there is someone they have legitimate interest in, they would more likely reach out to that team to propose a trade.

curious to the the depth chart now... if we're not adding another receiver, who starts in BOLO's spot?... McCrae or Grant?

Remember when Ross got released and signed by BC... it was just before Demski got hurt against Ham... so at the time we were looking OK for depth... of course, in hindsight, Ross would've been a valuable signing. BTW... can we all agree to refer to O'Leary-Orange as BOLO... I think hat would make life easier on all of us.

where, exactly, does one find games from the Clements era to watch? are they on youtube?

is this a real quote?.... c'mon, seriously?!

what's interesting about this is not the sheer number of penalties... but how many are of the roughness/disqualification variety.... if he had 10 offside penalties in 12 games, no big deal, just a little anxious to get to the QB... but 8 of his 10 (I'm counting 8 b/c his "holding" penalty against Ottawa was very clearly an intent to injure situation) penalties are major fouls... just crazy

Was just thinking the same thing about DT... he could've taken a pay cut to come here (probably didn't)... and it would still be a massive promotion... As for The ass clown Marino... the guy has played 13 games in the CFL... he's been ejected twice, fined twice (correct me if I'm wrong on that one, might be mistaken) and now received the longest suspension in CFL history... in THIRTEEN GAMES!... that's just 2/3 of ONE SEASON.... get this trash out of our league for good...

interesting Coombs is only 29 years old and currently a free agent... I'm thinking he's either got some kind of injury or is done with football... I'd think if he wanted to play and was healthy, someone would've given him a shot this year.

I agree with that... not saying he would necessarily be a superstar... just a curious "what if" about a player that showed potential but was in a bad situation.

this is a joke... right?

I also wonder what Drew Willy would've looked like if you imported him (prime aged) into the existing offense (or last years)

Nate Behar is now one of my favourite (non-Bomber) players... I'll take that firey passion and love of his teammate over the trash he had to deal with on the other sideline... if that man is ever a free agent, he's welcome in Blue and Gold any day of the week, as far as I'm concerned

At this point in the season it’s tough to determine who the Bombers ROY candidate has been between Schoen and Rutledge… tie usually goes to the offensive player

If by “getting jobbed” you mean his teammate taking the TD away with a bad penalty, then I agree… disappointing result but that was definitely a hold by Clements and the correct call In Nielsen’s defence… he did apologize for the jinx 😆

Looking real thin at LB right now... If Clements or Bighill get hurt... there's is going to me a massive hole over the middle...

cuz you pluralized it 😄 Don't forget... Chris Jones promised to stay the length on the contract... starting to look more like a curse than anything...

what are you talking about... 2009 we were all in baby! no rebuilding around these parts... we employed the smartest guy in the league, just ask the coach... he'll tell you it is being handled internally... the original Chris Jones

The way Wilson got hurt was very concerning... non-contact injuries can sometimes be the worst kind...

sounds like Wilson will be out a while... no news on Hardrick (as far as I know)

Interesting take... Pinball should do the Argos and the whole CFL a favour and just release this cancer https://3downnation.com/2022/07/06/ive-seen-him-throw-his-temper-tantrums-argos-ryan-dinwiddie-calls-out-brandon-banks-for-sideline-outbursts/

Why do a lot of people seem to think the WIL LBers job is primarily in pass coverage...

I very specifically chose my words when I said "may not have won"... it was looking like OT with Toronto having all the momentum... of course, you never know what will happen... and I recall a game late last season when Hamilton forced OT and appeared to have all the momentum... how did that one turn out again? 😁 we're still waiting for the command centre to explain why Duke Williams' catch that clearly bounced off the turf in the 2021 West final was allowed to stand as a catch... don't hold your breath...

It appears losing Harris, Lawler, and Dejarlais is much more difficult to overcome than we had anticipated.... I have faith in the team to work out the kinks and get the offense moving... remember, we still have Zach Collaros and I wouldn't trade him for any other QB in the league right now
