Whatever week this is - Non B2B Champs games

Bighill and Dean are both 34, they're within a year or two of calling it quits, Sankey at 28 is still in his prime. -

From the ocean of empty seats at most games this season, I would predict most teams are going to lose a boatload of money, and yet the B.O.G. has agreed to increase the operating budget to pre-pandemic levels even with an attendance drop off. So can we be sure they are still mainly operating as a gate driven league? Personnel subject to the football operations cap include coaches, general managers, scouts, equipment staff, and video personnel. https://3downnation.com/2022/10/24/cfl-operations-cap-to-increase-to-pre-pandemic-levels-in-2023-report/ -

McRae and BOLO should be playing this week with Demski and Schoen having most of the game off. Demski is still beat up and Schoen played the entire game last week, although he is battling with Rhymes for most yards receiving and may not want to sit at all. B.O. is within 71 yds. of rushing for 1,000 and may want to reach that milestone as well. -
The Deep Dark Woods and The Sheepdogs are also great Saskatoon bands.

Smart, best Mitchell since Bryant Mitchell. Looks like after he retired from the Bombers he decided to unretire and signed with the 49ers. San Francisco 49ers[edit] On August 16, 2022 it was announced that Mitchell would sign a one-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers. On September 4, 2022, he was signed to the practice squad after being cut by the team. -
If memory serves me well, you can't have open liquor in an RV while it's moving.

That's the book on Fajardo, rarely does he ever beat a team with an experienced starting QB, the vast majority of his wins have come from beating up on weak sisters. -

That's what happens when a QB missing his thumb tries to throw a football. -
Tried to watch "Dahmer" but it was gruesome and there was nothing at all interesting about it as the main character has the personality of a dead slug. I don't know why they thought this story would be compelling. As far as serial killers go, "To Catch a Killer" the series on John Wayne Gacy made in 1992 with Brian Dennehy, was a much more compelling character study. Also would recommend the film "The Iceman" released in 2012 about the notorious mafia hitman Richard Kuklinski as a good watch.

I'd like to see the Bombers lock him up before the end of this season, if he gets to F.A. he may be able to play Walters for an extra $50k. I believe his agent is Andrew Harris.
-
I'd rather Walters pays Demski first, he's a more critical signing than Lawler.

Every BC govt. retains the same policies regarding logging, they've been controlled by the forestry industry for over one hundred years.

I'm in no way cheering for another Covid outbreak this winter, but if it does happen Smith has no way to retreat from this level of stupidity.

TSN mentioned he's been receiving help with the mental aspects of the game, I'm convinced before the games Evans has played really well, he's been hypnotized to believe he's Ricky Ray. -
Two spells on the 6-game pushes it well beyond "lightly knicked", I wonder what his actual injury is and if it's chronic. It's bizarre O'Shea still treats injury reports like they're top secret.

Wasn't it one of Harper's tactics not to take any questions from the press during "press conferences"? If so Pierre is just carrying on with the pre-programmed program of carrying around a big bag of hostility to be opened anytime he encounters a microphone.
-
I think he knows he's near the end but the Bombers should be able to get another season out of him at a reduced rate, and I doubt he wants to go anywhere else. He'd be a great replacement for Schoen if he can stay healthy.

Brown would have to be careful where he chooses to go, he's not a world beater like Collaros, he looks good enough playing on a G.C. bound team, but may not be particularly effective if thrown into the fire of a bad team like the current version of the Riders. He'd be just another of the hundreds of CFL QB's that come and go within a few years, simply because they landed on the wrong team at the wrong time. A good team makes every QB look better just as a bad team makes every QB look worse.

Hamilton is good with Shiltz as backup, Ottawa looking good with Arbuckle and Masoli, if they can afford both. Best place for Fajardo to end up is in Montreal backing old dog Trevor Harris, he'll be out of the Rider QB spotlight, which is absolutely a curse. If they hang onto D. Davis, he won't even have to run 3rd down gambles, he'll have lots of time to process and maybe learn some new tricks. -

Cam Lawson has played well this year and at 24 he's already shown he's an adequate replacement for Jake. Sayles is worth keeping around for his versatility and engine, but they still need to find a huge piece to plug up the middle. I wonder how much weight Poop Johnson is hauling around these days. -

I think this year has shown Jeffcoat would not be easy to replace, when healthy he's still one of the best DE's in the league and well worth whatever they're paying him. Best compliment to Willie ever.
