  1. I have listened to most of it, the only organizer that seemed to have a clue what they were doing was Benjamin Dichter, the rest are simpletons that just happened to be at the right place at the right time in an event that grew well beyond their control.
  2. It's the Dan Clark Show!!!
  3. Live on You Tube.
  4. Lucky Charms just found their new mascot.
  5. Rourke will probably make a virtual appearance to accept the award if he wins. From watching numerous interviews he seems like a humble individual and he has a great personality, the Americans are going to love him. Nothing fake about him.
  6. BLM said himself he'll wait till F.A. before making his decision, he wants to maximize his value on what is likely his last contract. I think it'll come down to the Lions or the Ti-Cats as he is only considering competitive destinations. While speaking on the Barnburner podcast, Mitchell said that he would listen to the Ticats' pitch, but still wants to see what other offers are available. "I want to hear their pitch and what's going on there, but what I said two days ago before the West Final is I want to go into free agency. I want to find out what the offers are," Mitchell said. "I want to find out where the coaches are going to end up, I want to find out where some players are going to end up and who is even going to make it to free agency as a player. At this point in my career, I'm not going to fight over a certain amount of money with a different team. It's more to me. I want to build on the legacy I've started."
  7. Sounds like he wants to contribute on the field and probably wouldn't accept the P.R. route even if the pay is better, surely one of 20 NFL teams interested is smart enough to step up and make him an offer. https://www.bclions.com/2022/11/15/season-wrap-up-nathan-rourke/
  8. On a Ti-Cat podcast the other day, Mike Morreale said the Argos were begging Ti-Cat fans to come to the E.F. game, even if their intent is to cheer against the Argos. 😄
  9. Sorrells also posted and later deleted the following tweets. https://www.riderfans.com/forum/filedata/fetch?id=919241&d=1667749972 https://www.riderfans.com/forum/filedata/fetch?id=919242&d=1667749995
  10. The same scenario in AB., Kenney begged the Feds. to send in the military to tow away vehicles blocking the border crossing at Coutts, that way he could point his finger at Trudeau and say it wasn't him who stepped in and ruined the party. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/emergenies-act-degrand-alberta-1.6644282
  11. Which dam is this?
  12. Better known in Sask. as the see-ment pond.
  13. Houston practicing, if he's ready to go they'll be down to one rookie in the secondary, Parker.
  14. What could go wrong with an outdoor event for disabled people scheduled for mid Nov. in Wpg., sound like pain and suffering will be intensified. "I can't feel my fingers!" "You don't have any fingers."
  15. Prepare to be disappointed, here's a precursor to the dreaded interview. The headliners were unveiled last night on CTV's etalk, and here's what the three artists think of headlining the country's largest single-day sporting event - the Grey Cup. Jordan Davis - "It's always great to play in Canada, and I can't wait to soak in the energy and vibe of Grey Cup," said Davis. "Canadian music fans are some of the best in the world. Playing for them, especially with Tyler and Josh, will make for an incredibly special night that I'll never forget." Tyler Hubbard - "It?s an exciting opportunity to be asked to play the halftime show for such a huge event like the Grey Cup. I love playing in Canada because the fans always bring a great energy to the shows, so performing my music for the country music fans and for the passionate football fans is going to be quite an experience! I?m really looking forward to being a part of this iconic event.? Josh Ross - "Growing up, football was everything, and like so many young Canadians, the Grey Cup was the goal. Injuries led me on a different path, and now, music is my greatest passion and the stage is where I'm living my dreams. So to see these two paths come together, and lead to Saskatchewan - life is funny sometimes, but it's also perfect." The 109th Grey Cup will be played in Regina at Mosaic Stadium on Sunday, November 20 with kickoff slated for 5 p.m. local/6 p.m. ET. The sold-out contest and the Twisted Tea Grey Cup Halftime Show will be broadcast live across the nation on TSN and RDS - Canada?s home of the CFL.
  16. Vancouver is already expensive to eat, drink or sleep and it has nothing to do with the Grey Cup or the Canadian Country Music Week as it's always a busy tourist destination. I doubt bars, restaurants or hotels would take notice of either event other than maybe an insurgence of "hicks".
  17. Sask. putting on their belligerent hat to keep pace with the idjits in Alberta. They're threatening to change their constitution to protect their economic interests, ie. burning coal for power and saying no to the carbon tax. 2035 is creeping up on them and they haven't done a damn thing to transition to NG power generation, although they've had 50 years to think about it. MB. closed their last coal powered plant in 2002, Sask. wasn't even paying attention.
  18. Even with a miscalculation, who would pick Rutledge as an All-Star in the first place....except maybe Donald plus 47 relatives.
  19. Which almost narrows it down to LaPo or Khari as their two choices, since they already fired Maas.
  20. I see no mention of fan votes. The Division All-Stars were selected by the local voting members of the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC) in their respective division’s markets and the National Chapter, as well as their respective division’s head coaches.
  21. They nailed their scapegoat, we can all rest in peace knowing justice has been served once again.
  22. I hope they let these dunderheads speak their minds for all the world to see, only then will they be exposed as half-baked-half-wits to their army of supporters, of which few will actually take the time to listen and comprehend that these monkeys don't have a clue how democratic society operates.
  23. Mormon Church in Canada moved $1B out of the country tax free — and it's legal Money collected for charity transferred to Latter-day Saints’ university in U.S. Past time for the Feds. to step up and scrutinize how non-taxable charitable organizations spend monies donated, and close all the loopholes these babbling grifters exploit. Time to put this religious nonsense to rest and attacking the Mormons in Southern Alberta is a great place to start as they're largely at the root of Alberta's backward Republican counter-culture. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/mormon-church-jesus-christ-latter-day-saints-funds-charity-1.6630190
  24. No reason not to at least have him listed as a backup Parker stepping up has probably convinced Hall to leave him in for the remainder of this season, strange they wouldn't give Lawrence backup reps. if they plan to use him in the playoffs, thus I suspect they will not.
  25. "In Bruges" is hilarious, gained much respect for Colin Farrell as an actor after watching that movie.
