  2. Lucky Jackson started for the Elks last game although he did not catch a pass.
  3. Mosaic Stadium filmed from Birtle.
  4. Zach really has no competition for MOP this year, he didn't just ride a good team to first place, he literally blew the doors off in a number of games with exceptional individual performances.
  5. I agree, it comes down to efficiency, the Bombers have to do a better job of preparing future replacements for "next season" as they are now officially the #1 team in the league. With their recent success they should expect an increased amount of envy and defection to other teams making better offers to key players. Instead of stocking the PR with temporary replacements like McKnight and future ST players, they need to prepare the next young Ellingson or Stove who have the potential to develop into players of the same caliber. The Stamps held the mantel for over 10 years, they had to replace exceptional players every season and find key replacements within their organization. They've done an excellent job of remaining competitive no matter how many player losses they sustained, season after season. The Bombers have to adapt the same model and can't rely on doing their best with what they have leftover in the cupboard.
  6. That would be a pretty clear signal from the team that "you ain't getting any playoff money either".
  7. ......hate to break it to you but you also can't have an abortion.
  8. What a waste, no reason they couldn't have at least given him some game action and a fair shot after hanging around all season on the PR being paid peanuts.
  9. Argos LB Wynton McManis should take it over Shawn Lemon who they are pushing, even though he's probably out for the remainder of the season.
  10. Demski in a contract year will probably cost them at least $200k to retain, and that's with the hometown discount built in.
  11. Agreed those times have past, traditional rivalries can be played out during the season but for the championship it should be the two best teams going head-to-head to make the event more exciting and worth watching for all fans. The CFL is so small it would be an easy transition and the league needs to do everything it can to spark more fan interest.
  12. Yep, they'll probably try to spread the awards around a bit to spur fan interest in the event, Bombers have a lock on three if you include top coach, and Stanley might have a shot at MOL but they'll probably give it to a Stamp.
  13. Prukop has looked good in his limited role but I think Dru Brown is better equipped upstairs when it comes to utilizing the full playbook and understanding the game. Prukop can hang around next year if he likes, or not, but the Rider starting job beckons with stellar enticements such as this. https://www.riderville.com/2022/10/07/week-18-trailer-we-all-we-got-we-all-we-need/ WE ALL WE GOT, WE ALL WE NEED Dan Clark would make an excellent waterbed.
  14. Interesting that Tre Ford has recovered from his injuries and was listed as the backup QB last night but wasn't given a sniff of playing time. I guess Jones intends to roll with Cornelius for the remainder of the season and let them battle it out for the starting job in TC next year.
  15. Zach basically acknowledge this in his post-game interview, said it's a unique situation as with a lot of teams set plays are handed to the QB's and no input or dialogue is encouraged. https://www.bluebombers.com/2022/10/08/zach-collaros-game-day-2/
  16. Their attendance next year is going to crater, this seasons numbers were based on tickets previously sold, there was barely 20k attending most of their home games.
  17. I wouldn't be at all surprised if either or both are starters at their positions next season, with retirements, attrition and defections sure enough there will be changes in the secondary next year.
  18. I doubt it, some cake-sniffer is still going to offer him at least $250k in F.A. and that's too much to pay a single target when the job can be better executed by a committee of very good receivers like they've assembled in Wpg.. Have to pay Desmki more next year as well.
  19. Oh my, this should be fun. Originally Posted by cral12 @brentoliver · 1h 85,000 people are voting for our new Premier of a province of 4.5 million. 1.8% of the province. Cool.
  20. Nothing average about MBT, he's a deviation of the norm.
  21. He has a really hard time believing the Stamps are no longer ruling the league, he still believes they're a better team than the Bombers.
  22. Sure why not, who would you like to trade for him, Jefferson or Jeffcoat?
  23. ....but the population of Regina is only 228,928, so the ratio is quite similar to Wpg.
  24. That is a shocking revelation of the truth coming from O'Shea, and yet he sits on the 1 game IR 4 weeks after he was injured.
  25. He's also one of the few pickups they could have made league wide that already knows the system and can be ready to play in 3 days.
