Zach has remained remarkably healthy in his 5 seasons in Wpg, never missing more than the occasional game and ensuring they've made it to the GC every season.  Can't think of another QB that hasn't missed substantial playing time over the same time period.

In the GC itself, yes.  But I don't think they achieve 4 consecutive west division championships - without ZC under centre.

Yea...could happen. With the plethora of good backups on the market this year, I would hope KW is going to grab us one of them. Football championships are always a collective effort.  No doubt about that. However, some QBs tend to be able to lead their teams to more of them than others even if the stats don't necessarily show it. Sometimes its the timeliness of a play, for instance, or just a few minutes of greatness that make the difference between a VA and a ZC. 
Love him or hate him, I would take Fajardo as our back up for that reason. He sucks as a QB, but occasionally he gets hot and as Grey Cup 23 taught us he can sometimes get hot at exactly the right time. As a starter I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole, but coming in off the bench he's a guy that might just win you the game if your starter goes down. All you ask from a backup.

You can make the argument Jake shouldn’t be starting. Everyone else tho so really 9 starting calibre Canadians. Ppl can dislike certain guys but outside of Jake they all are starters. 

Our guy has cup rings. VA...not so much. If/when VA puts those on his resume he can likely get ZC money. Teams don't pay 600-700k unless MOPs and GCs are on your resume.

So, we have two billionaire owners in Calgary. Oil Baron Murray Edwards for the Stamps & the Southern family (ATCO) for Calvary FC. We have no facilities in Alberta to play this game here in February as the ground is frozen & it's minus 25. We can't move the game indoors. You'd thnk these two owners with their financial clout would get together, find a parcel of land & start planning a domed or retractable roof 40,000 seat facility for Calgary that is soccer friendly for Calvary FC & football oientated for the Stamps. But no. As usual, this city of nearly 2 million continues to have absolutely the worst sports facilities in North America for a city of it's size as tese owners just go about their business with no desire to build a facility that Calgary would be proud of.
Calvary FC plays in a 5,000 seat facility in the deep south of Calgary that is 40 kms from someone who lives in the far NW or NE. It's not the easiest place to access at Spruce Meadows. Their stadium reminds me of old Osborne Stadium with it's peaked roof. Then there's the dump the Stamps play in. McMahon Stadium should have been torn down 20 years ago. There just isn't any long term, outside the box thinking here unlike other cities. 
I've been here for 34 years. When we moved here in 1990, there were 700,000 residents living in Calgary & there was this "can do" attitude. Now, years later that attitude is gone. We Calgarians like to smugly think of ourselves as "world class" city. We aren'r even close to that. This city is bloated at 1.7 million people. Winnipeg managed to get a new football stadium, arena & baseballl stadium. Here? Nothing like that ever gets done anymore unless it's a hockey arena. Even that took a decade to get done. 

Arniel definitely wears his emotions on his sleeve as a coach. No issues with that. Sometimes I think the Jets need to play with more emotion. Sometimes it seems like they just go through the motions. But Arniel is about as Winnipeg as you can get for a coach. Came here young. Married a Winnipeg girl and stayed. Good to see the passion eventho in this particular case I think he was wrong as nobody forced Gus to drop his gloves but none the less. Nice to see a coach getting involved emotionally

the network connections prevented me from posting it the network was down for a good chunk of the game, I never got to see those fights live, if I had known that there would be problems after awhile when upgrading our boxes I would have convinced dad to switch to a different provider (why have issues now? we installed them in July had no issues til November there has to be a way weather proof the wifi or something)

Man, the Jets played a hell of a game tonight.  They were all over a Bruins team that had been pretty hot…. 4 straight wins and 7 of 9, I think.  Well done boys.

I swear that's what I was going for..........I swear....

As I was saying.... The Jets are clearly the better team in this contest.............
