I think we have finally got it together:
QBing is more than adequate and we have double bench strength ... no QB plays 21 games injury free .... most are good doing 16 games healthy
Running Backs - as good as we have had since superstar Charles Roberts
Receivers - good enough if not slightly better than average ... steady not brilliant
Blocking back /tight end / Canadian receiver - unnoticeable but ok
O-Line - the best I can remember ands THAT IS EVERYTHING
Defensive backs - upgraded from last year ... ball hawks
Linebackers - outside fits in with our DBs real nice but we don't scare anyone with our RUN defense .... its our first major problem to solve
DLine - I am expecting a genuine pass rush & real pressure compared to last year ... I don't have a clue about their skill as run stoppers
Special teams - Medlock says it all on the kicking side; returning is a notch down from last year but still OK .... our nemesis is undue penalties away from the play
Coaching - MOS has everyone's respect and that counts for huge ... still has stubborn streak blind spots that will cost us but hopefully not at the worst possible times .... losing Wylie hurts but lets hope his legacy will carry the day
Coordinators - Conservative by choice ... we may finally have the talent to fit that .... we are the turnover ratio experts and that should be better not worse this year

that's quite a judgment and untrue .... I just will pick certain issues and stick with them until addressed .... I am upbeat on the Blue this year as most .... this is the best team and the best hope we have had since the Milt Steagall days ... I like MOS's leadership but he has flaws that are not minor and may cost us the championship this year or next .... I have lived and died by the Bombers since 1961 when I wasn't old enough to read the newspaper .... I love the Bombers and everything CFL (and in the last 15 years the New England Patriots)
Its far easier to label someone a Negatron than to have a fair and open discussion about the issues of the moment
You confuse Bomber loyalty with conformity and party line .... why do you think Kyle Walters has sharp disagreements with MOS .... do you put him in your  Negatron category too?

IIRC he was viewed as the next up and comer before Nichols' multiple injuries and hence the need for Reilly to do it all

On TSN last night interviewing 3 GMs Walters said he & MOS frequently have sharp disagreements that takes stuff to repair ... MOS seems very narrow minded tunnel visioned to me .... if you are not next up to bat in his mind you are excluded from his plans .... see Bryan Bennett & U of M QB Yantz a couple years back ... many promises were made to Yantz but he never got to play a single down (and like Apodaca he had the best arm in camp) ... he was better than some of the Cdn QBs we see around the CFL this year. Both Yantz and Apodaca were never given a chance and MOS never planned to give them a chance .... this is a major character flaw with MOS
 
                    

In spite of losing both Glenn & Bennett to the roughies I like our QBing better this year than what we ended with last year ... I guess we will see

The gossip in the Stampeders camp right now is that they think the Bombers are the team to beat this year .... the number two rank in the CFL

My starting receivers today based on performance this morning would be Adams, Dressler, Denmark & Coates .... all impressed me. The 5th receiver would be a multiple choice guess . Nichols was easily the best QB but my #2 from this a.m. is Apodaca .... he has a strong accurate arm, maybe the best in camp

The delight of today's opening camp for me  was #4 Austin Apodaca QB ... i just loved his strong accurate arm and I couldn't wait till it was his turn to throw it again ... Nichols looked very sharp as well .... Lefevour & Davis looked ok but not nearly as impressive as Nichols & Apodaca
No shoulder pads today & Medlock wore a funny hat while he boomed his punts into the coffin corner
Andrew Harris made a number of nice moves during the running game rehearsal; Dressler & Denmark seemed very good ..... hardly noticed Thorpe today
Wondering if Apodaca is our QB of the future ... maybe he becomes our # 3 or even # 2 this year but that's pretty far fetched; haven't seen him under  fire with a big lineman rushing up his nose ... just dreaming
