I was thinking the other day when I saw a prediction that the Jets by 2030 will be bottom of the league full rebuild and it got me thinking in theory is not the role of a GM and his support team to never get the organization into the position of needing a significant rebuild?
Is this a reasonable expectation across the board for professional sports GM's or are there way too many factors involved that make it easier/harder (city, revenue etc) for some GM's over others?
