  1. A compilation of some of the best music ever produced. If the Bombers have a soundtrack, this music would be t! Wouldn't their theme song be, "Am I Blue?" as performed by Leon Redbone
  2. Bo-Levi does not look like the dominant QB he has been last year, but last game when Calgary's starting tackles went down, the Calgary offense hardly missed a beat. Even if Mitchell goes down, there is Tate warming up. Disgustingly well coached and enviable depth almost everywhere.
  3. Burris's throwing motion looks forced- not the fluid flick I am used to seeing.
  4. Ironic- that some complain about the "dirty hits" by the players of other teams (like Chip Cox) yet applaud the antics of our Picard.
  5. Cato does not look like a complete rookie, and once he gets a few more games under his belt, he is going to be a very good pivot in this league.
  6. I don't see a difference between Bieber and Groban. They're both bad. Are you comparing the CFL to Josh Groban?Yup. Groban actually has talent as opposed to Bieber whose only attribute appears to be his ability to embarrass Canada.
  7. Both teams doing their damnedest to give the game away.
  8. The CFL is far and away more entertaining than MLB, NFL or NBA, but those who follow those sports are buying into all the hype and not the game per se. Sort of like Justin Bieber fans as opposed to Josh Groban.
  9. On the contrary that eliminates the QB sprint to the corner. You can't lump Marve in with Goltz that easily. For all of Goltz's faults... he was actually pretty money in the redzone (just couldn't actually get the ball into the redzone) Ummm....isn't that an oxymoron, like military intelligence or feminine logic? I think he meant that, when they were in the red zone, he could run it in for a TD, but he couldn't throw a TD pass to save his life. How dare you drag common sense into this forum.
  10. A disturbing trend appears to be forming- O'Shea seems to be overly loyal to players whom he likes even if there is ample evidence that that these players are just not good enough. If this is really so, it will be a point of chafing between him and Walters. The scouting staff can bring in lots of good players but if O'Shea is committed to the status quo even if the team is struggling, that is bad news.

  12. Why not let Greaves and Neufeld duel for the starting spot and then see what you can get for the loser?
  13. No one asked you Tim Burke. What are you, blind as a ref? Clearly that was Corey Chamblin. Chamblin was channeling Tim Burke.
  14. Greaves has earned himself a spot on the bench. He wasn't very good last year, but this past game he looked like a rookie, and a crappy one at that.
  15. QED. Enough examples.
  16. From Doug Brown's column in today's Freep: For the team to be competitive over the next two weeks, however, the defence is going to have to improve by metric miles and not just the toddler wobbles we have witnessed so far. Roughly 17 per cent through the regular season, the Bombers defence is last in total defence, last in average passing yards given up per game and second to last in average rushing yards surrendered and points given up.
  17. Great interview with the Walrus. Thanks for posting the link.
  18. Might be enough to save our bacon.
  19. He's also running a football camp. He's said in the past that he will wait as long as it takes for another NFL shot. He's obviously a believer in reincarnation.
  20. Good. They deserve each other then. Kind of like when Hitler contracted syphilis. It's probably the best site cause it's the only one that still humours him and hasn't given him the boot. It was a Good Thing that he moved- he simultaneously raised the average IQs of both groups.
  21. hmmmm....football is a game of inches...that could catch on! Get with the times- its "a game of centimeters" now.
  22. Lyle/Nate has had his day. Let him rust in peace.
  23. I certainly hope that if the coaches saw another MLB prospect in camp who was head and shoulders better than Hurl, they would have kept him and figured what to do with Hurl later. Maybe its too soon to judge Hurl until we get a couple of carnivorous tackles in front of him and the OLBs learn to read plays coming at them soon enough to turn the play back.
  24. A BIG loss for the Alouettes- Woods was as good as any middle linebacker in the league and better than most. lol, Elsworth steps in and dominates at the position. I don't know who is behind him on the Als depth chart but just go grovel to Popp and get him in a Bomber uniform please. With Woods out for a long stretch, Popp is not going to trade Elsworth any time soon. And yes, I would love to see Elsworth in Bomber colours.
  25. Maybe the answer is to have two categories of penalties. One: where the pernalty affects the outcome of the play- that would result in a replay if applicable. two: if the penalty does not affect the outcome of the play, the play will stand as is, and yardage added or subtracted from the point where the ball is without discussion or appeal.
