I think you are confusing frustration with hatred and a year of futilty and bad judgment with adversity.

Do you think that the man who chose Bellefeuille, Tracy and our previous defensive coordinator, and thought Marve and Brohm were good enough backups fpr Willy has what it takes to do better next year when he isn't doing any better this year than last? The evidence says no.

O'Shea's track record indicates that it is probable Bellefeuille will remain to at least end of season. I'm not even sure that another humiliation will get him canned.

Yup. And O'Shea will regurgitate a whole bunch of excuses.

There is a statement that keeping obviously poor coaches (O'Shea and Bellefeuille for starters) makes and that is that there is no committment to winning and no consequence to incompetence. If the quality of our coaching, or lack thereof, is obvious to us, it must be way moreso to the players, and that has to breed disrespect for the organization.

Tracy richly deserved to be fired. In the presser this afternoon, O'Shea wrung his hands over having to fire a friend he's known since first year university but was adamant that this was the only needed change and there will be no other changes this season. It could have been an effort to reassure his minions but it probably means that he has lashed himself to his team of coaches and will live or die with them. Given the way things are going, dying looks like the probable outcome. He was asked point-blank about the flaccid offence and refused to comment on it. Translation: what you see is what you get and if this aint gonna do it, it aint gonna get done.

Without Randle, we might lose the next game.

yea they got hops alright lol. one almost jump kicked me in the face when i was dirt biking.. it was running straight at me down a trail and jumped at me.. if i didnt duck it may have knocked me clean off the bike at like 50 kph.. crazy buggers! So you avoided disaster by a hare?

Interesting is not how I would describe the looming prospect of the last 8 games. The words I would use would be: depressing, sad, infuriating and even apathetic.

With Burris's very high price, and his tendency to disappear, it wouldn't have taken fans here too long to get down on him. He doesn't perform according to his pay grade although he is having a good year in Ottawa.

You may be onto something here. The Bombers should be forced to wear those monkey abortion uniforms every time they lose and until they win.

The Riders had the ball for 2/3 of the game and only managed two offensive TD's, with the first one coming at the end of the 3rd quarter. The defense did their job. They did get off the field. If you wanna play the what if game: What if special teams hadn't given up a TD and extended a Rider drive by penalty that lead to another What if the Bomber defense scored a TD instead of taking penalties that extended Rider drives leading to another TD If you really want to break it down, the Bomber special teams and defense hurt them more than their futile offense did. If you are drowning with three feet of water over your head, does it really matter which foot of water drowns you? The offense has stunk for the second season now and the defense has been shored up, but the infected teeth remain.

The last post-game interview with O'Shea was the third one this year I listened to, and all were after lop-sided losses. O'Shea has sounded more defensive in each successive interview, but Sunday night he sounded fatalistic and lost as well. If O'Shea is feeling that way, imagine what kind of message is being sent to the players. Time for euthanasia, but if it doesn't happen by noon tomorrow, it gonna be a epic disaster right to the end of the season.

Oh, Willy will be around for awhile, perhaps in a body cast and/or unrecognizable.
