Impressive drive with Streveler throwing with confidence. Good mix of plays and the Riders screwing themselves. Riders with token resistance at the goal line.

The have done so preemptively, anticipating your wishes.

You can thank Myron Baloney for that. He ordered CBC to divest itself of all professional and especially popular sports telecasting so as to not compete with private broadcasters.

You are assuming that the game plan is to actually throw the ball in Peterman's direction on occasion.

But no gratuitous nudity, okay?

As crappy as the coaching is for the Lions, somehow Langford has looked like a credible kick returner. A puzzlement, to be sure.

I think Skunk was referring to Nichols' reputation as a "game manager"- low risk, low excitement.

But why? Who has gotten dinged up or thrown a hissy-fit?

Anthony Bourdain

That Argo win is the one that shall not be named. I refuse to believe it happened. So there.

An STI might be out of the question.

William Stanback

Could be the most memorable game of the year.

Mostly agree, but our safety position is vulnerable, and if the DB's have to start covering for Hecht's lack of speed, they are in trouble.

Leopards and spots, etc. I do not think that Hervey will be around to trouble player selections too much longer.

Depending on your tastes, that could work, too.

Desjardins would be insane to fire Campbell. He was the best hire of the new franchise and would be snapped up SAP.

What he knows and what he chooses to say are quite different.

Mass will be around in 2020 if for no other reason than he looks sooo good compared to Claybrooks and Chamblin.

I got it bass-ackwards. The Bombers played poorly against the TiCats and followed that up with a dreadful game against the Argos. The scenario was correct but the sequence was wrong. The game this Saturday is still critical.

You are correct. Old-timers' disease is a helluva thing.

I wish I could be more optimistic about the Banjo Bowl, but I am not. After the Bombers with a full complement of players soiled the sheets in Toronto, they followed that up with another bad game in Steeltown. There has been speculation about how well the Bombers would do if the defence and special teams did not play their usual heroic game and relied on an anemic offence to win, and we saw that in the LDC. Streveler needs to show that he can run at least a respectable offence with a couple of dozen crisp passes and several in a row or all of the enthusiasm that he brought in with him will evaporate in his teammates' eyes. Streveler's college history seems to indicate that he can throw the ball well, but so far we have not seen much of that.

Why can't it be both?

A couple of years ago, I took my dog to the off-leash beach area at Winnipeg Beach and played fetch with her by throwing her ball into the water. A couple of days later, she got very sick and nearly died. The vet said that it was probably because she ingested either algae or ecoli. So, we are not doing that again, and it sucks because she really really loved the game.

Department of redundancy department.
