  1. Yes, we did not lay a beating on BC like Edmonton did last night, but it was the first real game of the year, and our parts were still meshing. The next game against the Esks should tell us a lot about the Bomber O-line and the Esks' D-line. I still hold that the Esks' O-line is highly suspect and vulnerable.
  2. Now that's hitting below the belt.
  3. AKA: craptacular
  4. I feel weird in rooting for the Esks.
  5. More like a one-and-a-half coach.
  6. I was afraid of that.
  7. But he might get a gig as a spokesperson for KFC.
  8. The Esks have the wind behind them now. BC rapidly deflating.
  9. He is not alone in that.
  10. Is it just me or does Reilly with that beard look like he should be crouching behind a wall with an RPG?
  11. In Reilly's defence, he is playing with a whole new set of receivers and an o-line that has not looked good. He also does not play much defence.
  12. Esks showing signs of life.
  13. Harris is not exactly throwing darts tonight. Lotsa floaters.
  14. Has a head coach ever been fired at half time?
  15. Its all from the same horse anyways.
  16. Dickenson was fuddled as soon as he took the job. Talk about being given the job as captain of the Titanic.
  17. I think this one is almost too close to call, but I'm going with the Esks. Harris is pretty good as a QB, and Maas is a better coach. We saw an example of how good coaching can sway a game last night, but it may be another horrible but entertaining game. I wouldn't want to be Reilly tonight- he is gonna get pounded.
  18. The Rider defence was pretty porous, but Rhymes had a helluva game. He looks to be a darned good receiver despite a questionable quarterback.
  19. Dickenson is probably a good example of the Peter Principle.
  20. For discussion as who had the strongest arm: Matthew Teague and Joe "747" Adams. Teague threw so hard that he tore the skin off the palms of receivers 10 yards downfield.
  21. Yup, it was that kind of night.
  22. Silver Heights restaurant, Luda's, Tropikis.
  23. Ok. ok, I should have said "vertically challenged".
  24. Keep following- you'll twig onto it.
  25. This was an entertaining game because both teams were terrible but almost equally so. Sort of like watching midget wrestling- weird and fascinating at the same time.
