  1. How was Elimimian's hit on Harris not helmet to helmet?
  2. I'll take your word for this, but yesterday in the morning monologue on 1290, Olshevsky said he'd been in the league for 6 years. That didn't fit for me but what the heck, I don't make a living at this sort of thing.
  3. Hmmm...not a spring chicken, well traveled and hasn't really played in what-18 months? Surprised to see that he isn't Caucasian.
  4. Agreed. It was obvious to all and sundry that the Bombers were flat as piss on a plate. At least his driving finger is intact.
  5. Re: Cameron Judge. If/when he goes for a pee-test what he produces ought to closely resemble tea.
  6. I am beginning to have doubts about Davis. He certainly didn't look anything like a starting QB last game, and he has been in the league for SIX years. It seems to me that if a player has been in the league for six years and hasn't shown enough to challenge for a starting or look good in relief, you're probably never going to.
  7. I don't think Mr. Reed is going to have to worry about this team for much longer.
  8. No matter. BC, Toronto and Montreal are going to try to sign him in the off-season. He's better than anything they have, and better than he has looked recently. A decent O-line and coach and he would look serviceable.
  9. This was a poop-fest of a game, although I do not think Nichols will miss a game. There were some strange decisions by the Bomber coaches and they were definitely shown up the TiCats' brain-trust.
  10. Hamilton got their wins with smoke and mirrors, but the Riders are showing signs of life in spite of our scorn about Brandon Bridge. There are a lot of dreadful teams this year, so who knows? Maybe all a team needs to do is get hot and win three games in a row to win the Cup.
  11. You may wish to amend the double negative which currently reads as a positive.
  12. We've not had many "roughing the passer" calls against us, and for good reason. If the league comes up with a "causing the passer to be mildly concerned" penalty, we're golden.
  13. I disagree about the effectiveness of our D-line. Stupid is as stupid does, and good is as good does, and the Bomber D-line has not been good this year, even against poor O-lines.
  14. True enough, but the Bombers were totally caught with their pants down- utterly clueless on that play. Unacceptable for a coach who was a special teams guru.
  15. To thrash a deceased equine, this team cannot give up all those yards again and again and expect the offense to put up 40+ points every game to bail them out and/or rely on timely turnovers. Its not sustainable and Hamilton coaches exploited the Bomber vulnerabilities perfectly. Now that the recipe for beating the Bombers is out there, we are gonna see a lot more of that. Masoli is not a great quarterback and their re-tread running back is not al all-star but the Bomber defence sure made them look like it.
  16. Lankford is still here for several credible reasons: he is or maybe was very fast at least in a straight line, he can punt and I seem to recall that he can play some quarterback. Still, overall he has not contributed much lately.
  17. It must be wonderful for Jones to not have to worry about either league rules or a salary cap. Makes life as a head coach/GM so much easier.
  18. You are not alone in your puzzlement, but there's always stuff going on behind the scenes we don't hear about for months/years if ever.
  19. Trestman's record says that he will straighten that out. Missing two starting linebackers is a major liability.
