Over the years I have seen a number of bench clearing brawls on the sports hilite shows .... but I believe they were mainly all college football games ... If we had a bench clearing brawl last Saturday maybe it would have woke a few people up like the league's governors and the zebras ... maybe the smugness would go away and actual change would be engineered by the powers that govern us ... QB &  player safety would happen immediately ... fan entertainment and not partisan advantage might take the forefront ... other knuckle dragging things might finally be addressed
"a player that retired a quarter-century ago" ... what does age have to do with manliness and being the family/team protector have to do with age? I would rather lose the Grey Cup than see Zach's career end on a cheap shot
Dignity is more important than discipline
    Discipline without dignity is harlotry...
And if we had of lost because all 5 of our O-Linemen jumped on Robertson at once, reducing him to an ink spot, this Saturday  would have turned into the greatest most anticipated game of all time in Winnipeg history

Ya good on Brady to keep their heads. There wasn't even a penalty on the field yet so the retaliation 100% would have been the one flagged.
Now, on the next play after the TD if someone wanted to go after Robinson I wouldn't have minded.

Exactly how many yards in retaliation penalties before you're acting like a real man? It's called discipline, something our team prides itself on. Best revenge is laying 50 points on them this weekend

I believe the head butt had more impact than any body has stated so far ... how much ? A lot ... it is a confidence thing ... AND the lack of no one ripping apart said offender ... penalties be damned ... if it were the NHL that guy would have to stay off the ice for that and every subsequent game ie if he did not want to go back to the dressing room in a stretcher ... we are acting like pansies
AS to performance by Zach, he has the ghost of injuries past in his head now
Further any head shot is going to have an immediate effect ... the finesse disappears as one goes in to overcome mode

Third thing would be the god-awful returning and kick coverage.
Totally agree on Collaros. He can still ball out but he's been hit too many times this year and it shows.

thats a major thing killing us....Returns were good with Grant...coverages were crap all year...and they know why it's crap....but continue to try and make it not crap....go back to what works....And ZC just nedds a few good clean games to get his mojo back....not too concerned there really....he has moments in games and for stretches where he is lights out.....so it's not an ability issue...just something in his head ...I sure he will over come it
very true....and killed us....The defence last 5 games I think has given up like 4 td's...tops....Our offence is in a funk because it's not being a ball control grinding machine like it can be....thse deep shots will be there once we re-establish what we were...right now a lot of our warts are all on coaching

Honestly that game comes down to 2 things for me: receivers didn't make catches and collaros appears to have the yips. Has for a while now. He just doesn't have the same swagger he had previously. Off on his throws,  doesn't trust his protection. Not sure what's going on with the guy.

His position is where most teams have one of their top defenders making plays. We just have a guy whiffing on tackles

Biggie had a good game mostly but he did whiff on Morrow on that play down to the 1 in OT.

    1 Brady O
    2 Demski
3 Holm/Nichols played well on the inside
HH Dobson tossing a Rider on the Prukop TD like he weighed nothing

We'd have lost that challenge as the ball hit the ground before Schoen secured it. I saw a facemask on Oliveira late in the game that was missed & O'Shea never challenged it as it looked blatant. Oliveira turned his head as he was running when the Rider player grabbed his mask.

I mean tbh we had won 6 against them in a row. We were bound to lose one eventually, LDC was bigger for them, as the season series is on the line. The fact there was only 1 turnover against us, and they got the surprise onside, to me shows they knew the only way they beat us is on gimmicks and gadgets.
I'll be more pissed of they lose next week at home.

Agree Parker was better than McRae at fielding punts but that’s about it today.  Didn’t make any plays covering kicks (nobody did). Would still love to see him in over Kramdi on. D

That’s one of the dirtiest plays I’ve seen. Should be ejection. Hopefully suspension

All this hate for Rourke is the sourest of grapes. We love Canadians!!! Not that one though!!! Virtually every player dreams of being in the NFL, but let's hate on Rourke for actually doing it!!! Let's poke holes in his nationality and college experience but completely gloss over Wolitarsky every time it is accurately pointed out he is just as fake a Canadian, faker even!!!
That TSN and the rest of the major outlets latch on to a QB over any other position is an obvious no-brainer in terms of getting eyes on content and should be a surprise to NOBODY. If Bryan Burnham and Trevor Lawrence among others can sing the kids praises on Twitter (they could have just stayed quiet) I have no reason to think he was anything but a team player that earned the respect of his peers up North and down South. He's getting to do what 99.9% of Canadian QBs will never get do, and the CFL keeps getting brought up as part of the conversation. We should be happy for the exposure as well as the kid but leave it to some of you guys to be miserable about something positive.

Isn't he born and raised in Canada until his football training took him south?
Wasn't Cahoon fully from like Utah and just had some family relation in Canada to qualify as a NI? Not unlike Woli right now?

He attended High School in Canada till his senior year then went to a US prep school. His brother did all his high schooling in Canada. Wolitarsky is basically Ben Cahoon.
