  1. God this post aged so well
  2. I'm already nervous and sick for the game. I'm gonna take the family to see the fireworks this week, and Friday check out the spirit of Edmonton and other parties with my rider friend. I want to soak it all in.
  3. Strategies for getting tickets to the game at a really good price? I plan on waiting again until the weekend like for the West semi-final, I feel like I obviously won't go get tickets for 40 bucks, but there's no way I'm going to pay more than $100 for a single to a game with no Calgary no Saskatchewan no Edmonton
  4. He's only averaging three yards of Carrie, it's not working. You know what is working? ******* Zach Collaros.
  5. Lapo needs to pull his head out of his ass and let Zach throw the ball
  6. We've lost all momentum.
  7. I can't say I feel super confident, in fact I'm a little nervous with how well Saskatchewan the last driveway. We need to score more points, because there's no way we're holding Saskatchewan to under 11. Get hold. We're doing good but should be up more.
  8. Gotta get Saskatchewan in the game next week I guess, hey cfl? **** you refs
  9. I hope things turn out well for us today. I hope things go our way, and if they don't I'll probably take some time before I post again as not to let my emotions get the best of me. On paper there's really no reason why we don't have a good chance here, but anything can happen in a one-off game on the road. I feel like fate and karma and the football Gods owe us... so hopefully fortune favours the Bombers. Green is the colour of infection and boogers. GO BLUE.
  10. They were up on the 12th.
  11. My wife hates this but tough **** lol
  12. The pigs at rider fans are trashing MBB. Human garbage. I wish I never knew that site existed. The rider fans I know in my life are at least homo sapiens
  13. 07 sucked. The Grey Cup is obvious, so I'll go with Labour Day as I was at the stadium that day. The hooplah around the LDC was really great, and was a fun AF game to watch. We we're the better team the majority of the day and couldn't get a stop on D that last drive. Sounds familiar right? As of this writing, and it may be recency bias, but, being @ McMahon for Sundays win over Calgary is my #1 as a Bomber fan. Hoping for one more McMahon win this year
  14. **** the Riders. **** their dumb fans in watermelon helmets. **** them for thinking they're the Packer fans of the CFL. You're the trashy Raider fans. Period. No one in the league likes you. **** their toilet bowl shaped stadium. **** their entire organization.
  15. Whatever the results are this season, if we don't make a concerted effort on signing Arbuckle or Masoli I will have big questions about what the **** we are thinking
  16. I'm watch the game with a rider friend of mine. Not sure what I was thinking inviting him over. Hopefully we don't finish in blows.
  17. Holy **** It's Wednesday. I am in a glass case of emotion.
  18. Some good discussion last page. Nice point and counter point. Here's some stupid posting for everyone to enjoy. I would sponge bath 200 drifters for a win on Sunday.
  19. Holy **** it's already Tuesday.
  20. I'm a little nervous about the general Cockiness I'm getting from the vibe here, and even myself I have to admit. Anything can happen in a one-off game. So even if we were the favourites, which I don't think we will be, nothing can be taken for granted. At this point I'm going to give MOS a pass as a coach and hope that he's keeping the guys focussed. We're so close to achieving a desperately-needed goal that if he needed a back rub I would fly to Winnipeg on my own dime and massage him. As far as the strategy goes against the Riders on Sunday, I think it's simple. Play clean football and have a balanced attack. We can't just run the ball between the tackles, we have to bring in big Chris, we have to throw the Deep ball occasionally, we have to keep the defense honest. If lapo calls a game like he did in the second half on Sunday I'm confident we will do okay. More than anything at this point, I'm just really hoping things turn out well and I can't provide much in the way of strategy or even commentary. It actually wrenches my gut thinking about how close we are to playing for the Grey Cup in Calgary, 20 minutes from where I live. I want this for our city, I want this for our fans. I don't care how they win. Just win.
  21. Heh sounds like me and Noeller met yesterday behind the bench without realizing it
  22. Yesterday was about as enjoyable a football game as I can remember, in person. The Banjo Bowl was pretty sweet too but we kicked their asses so early it was almost anti climatic. I am fully expecting to be competitive in Regina next weekend, and frankly, I think it's ours to lose. Fajardo being banged up and our team seems to be peaking at just the right time of the year. 2 wins baby. 2 wins.
  23. I want a fifth game. I honestly think on paper we check more boxes than the Riders, go out there and get it done.
