If nothing else, its refreshing to have so many choices after last year when Sheahan was our rookie nominee.

The key to beating him has never been pressure, it’s allways been about dropping Guys back taking away the easy routes, rotating coverage and keeping things disguised. We did exactly that, last week too. JY is a stud DC. 
O is more fun to watch in the regular season, D takes you much further. I love the physical domination of the game. From Brady rumbling, to lucky fighting, and the secondary shutting down every thing. 

Still not working on my laptop, but the app on my tv is now. 20 bucks a month for garbage quality, I hate tsn.

I had a bit of down time today so I decided to look up the number of Canadians that each team in the league started in each game played so far this year. (According to what I've read each team must start 8 Canadians one of which could be a "nationalized American".) So...
Hamilton: started 8 for all games so far this year
Montreal: mainly 8 but had 9 twice and 10 another time
Ottawa: 8s across the board
Toronto: 8 for all games
Edmonton: started 8 except for two games where they started 9.
Saskatchewan: 8 for all games
Calgary: 8 except for one game when they started 9
BC: one game with 8, 4 with 9 and two games with 10
Bombers: from what I could make out...three games with 10 and five games with 11
What am I missing here? Is the Bombers' Canadian talent that good? Do the Bombers' coaches know something the other coaches don't?

This is a prime example of why stats, in isolation, are meaningless.  They don’t tell the story of how many tackles he’s outright missed .. how many times he’s been dragged for extra yardage or run over .. they don’t show the plays he should have made if he was a few steps faster.
I don’t think Bighill is the biggest issue on defense and you see that in some of the plays he makes, when he’s instinctual .. short yardage is a perfect example of this .. that said, anyone denying that his overall play has fallen off has their head in the sand.
He doesn’t have the range he used to.
He’s not as physical as he used to be.
He doesn’t shed blocks and flow like he could in years past.
He doesn’t react as quickly as he used to in pass coverage.
These things matter and it’s why we should be grooming the next guy while Biggie still has some utility.  I love Bighill and his leadership can’t be underestimated but time catches us all.

If Strev is healthy enough to be on as a receiver, why does he not get a snap at QB? Even if his sole purpose is the short yardage QB, why not throw on one of them. The first year he was with us, he was effective because he might not run every time. Burned some teams with the fake short yardage run. Now teams know it will be run. Don't get it.

All things considered in this game...the errors...the bad penalty calls...poor play by repeat offenders....this game was again lost due to coaching...and it started on friday with the release of depth chart....again

120 grand to a worse short yardage qb then Prukop? What happened to actually letting him throw a pass or keep the defense honest?

The more I watch this season the more I’m convinced they had no plan for Streveler when they signed him.

It's a special thing listening to a game on OB in your Whiteshell campsite. So many great memories of doing that at Big White as a kid...

Problem is they're fixated on most of the losses being close, so just clean up a few things... well most of their wins the last 5 years were close too... used to be we had the talent and depth to make the plays needed to win the tight ones, now they don't have either. They need to realize that before they can fix it.
