Speaking of honourable mention... how about that catch by JFG on the 3 with seconds left in the game.... to hang on to the ball while getting blasted by the safety was incredible.... huge atonement for the fumble earlier... 

I think an honorable mention should go to Hajrullahu for having the presence of mind to kick the ball through his own end zone for the safety after the high snap. If he simply falls on it or tries to make a play which would likely fail, then the Ti-Cats get the ball deep in Bomber territory and come away with at least a field goal, if not a touchdown. Giving up only a safety lead to the margin of victory.

Umm...excuse me.  I am and was brought up Catholic.  Your remarks about Catholics think halloween is awful is completely wrong.  I've gone to quite a few churches in my time and all the priests always handed out halloween candy right around halloween.  I've never heard anyone in any of our congregations, old or young, ever say anything negative about halloween, so I don't know where you get your information from.
 
There are certain Christian sects out there that do snub there noses at it, but I can't say for sure which ones.  But I know one of the ladies at my work doesn't let her kids go out on halloween and she is some kind of evangelical Christian.  But that's not to say all Christians are against it.

I'm NOT for changing it. I agree it's not the nicest name but people are way too sensitive & politically correct these days. It seems everything out there offends someone. The NFL won't change the name. Goodell will say f**k y*u just because he can. Same with Dteam an Snyder because I believe most Redskins fans don't want the name changed either.
Unless someone sues the league & it goes all the way to the US Supreme Court & they order it to change. Somehow, even if it went that high, I just can't see the American Chief Justices doing that. The only way to hurt the Redskins & the NFL & force them to change the name are for fans to quit buying RG3 jerseys as well as other Washington gear. Hurt Dan Snyder & the NFL in the pocketbook. But that won't happen especially if RG3 has a bounce back year.

I don't care if you never played the game, and I don't mind negativity if it is intelligent and insightful, but at the very least, the person being paid to report on the game should be a fan of the game, like us, and possess basic knowledge of the rules, actually - more than basic knowledge truth be told. Other than Tait and Penton in some ways, I don't see a lot of true football fans in the media in Winnipeg. Other cities have the same problem, but the difference is our guys are masquerading as knowledgeable folk, and their stupidity and apathy to the game we love is exposed week after week. Because we fans call them on it.

I'm kind of disappointed. He threw for 308 yards in week 1 and only threw for 307 last night.
 
If he throws for 306 next week, I think we should hand the ball to Brohm and see what he can do.
 
Just kidding. The last we had a quarterback throw for 300 yards in back to back games was September 12+19, 2009 with Kevin Glenn.

Marshall Faulk was on Fox Sports Radio this morning before the Jay Mohr Sports show and was talking about Nic Grigsby of the Blue Bombers. Wow couldn't believe it. Apparently he and Grigsby are close and worked on his game before Blue Bombers training camp. Said Grigsby isn't even close to the player he will be. Apparently he runs a consistently 4.3/40

Will be cheering it on t.v. from Calgary.  Tryign not to get my hopes up.

Gonna be a great day. Similar weather here in AB. Finish work around 10am, then heading into Calgary around Noon for some pre-gaming. Absolutely can't wait for Knuckles and the pre-game show!!

Nothing will improve in the Bomber organization until the board is abolished.  Corrupt bunch of 'yes' men and entitled goofs.

This isn't just a "government building". It's a public stadium that was a lightning rod of opinion, before, during & now after construction. The public has a right to know what's going on. Miller's embarassed & he shouldn't be. As I said in a previous post, this isn't the Bombers fault & there's no need to be secretive about it. 

Taxpayers funded the stadium, Rich.  Therefore they should be able to see the damage. I think it's time some kind of government inspection was done to determine just what needs to be done once & for all to determine all that needs to be done to  fix anything & everything. 

yeah but if a GM isn't given the cash what's he supposed to do? Look I like some of the stuff Walters is doing but it's gotten ridiculous the way people talk like it's been hit after hit. It's all still unproven, but I guess that's the Bomber fan way. New is better and if it's not well there's lots of buses to throw people under.

I hate KG and never want to see him in Winnipeg ever again.  He'll just revert back to ***** he is when the temp drops.  KG is afraid of the COLD!  Therefore he's useless in WPG.
