me too...sounds like he may be in football playing shape....I wouldn't be shocked if he is 100 percent in game playing weight and conditin he brabs the starting center gig..especially with having experience with Tackle to boot

game verus Montreal he showed good mobility and moved chains with his legs, as well as a nice touch on the deep ball to Simonese...albeit a small sample size, but what 3rd stringer gets much to show anything other than as short yardage?? From my observations he seems to be the most athletic of the 3 (in an all around capacity) and seems to have the best arm strength

If your tenured vets get hurt..teams wont have to scramble to find another with tenure..there will be verbage in the CBA detailing this issue No CBA I have ever known od punishes a team or puts them in a bind due to injury..I guarantee this was discussed already

I wouldn't say a ton of top end talent...I'll give them Burnham and Reilly as top end...Chungh in the top teir...but after that...nothing too spectacular...

The team will sign Kobongo but it isn't an impending rush...cant practice quite yet so no need to take up a TC roster spot, but all indicatons from the Bombers and Kobongo's camp is he will be signing and putting at the least 2 years worth of film together, to hopefully spark NFL interest

I think you are referring to numbers in his original contract...he took a shave last year and I believe for this year he is under 160k...either way though...good value none the less for a guy who is tiops in his league at his position taking 2 jobs

You would think if he has gotten no mini camp offers or free agent deal to attend main camp in the NFL that he'd have signed in Canada by now. Maybe he just was waiting for the CBA and now will resurface shortly by signing with a team up here. Hopefully with us as we would have nice ratio flex

people tend to forget for JOnes first few years he was worked as and practiced as a Corner and emergency HB....NOT as a safety and it wasn't a matter of him not being able to take it away from Loffler for his first 2 years, he was a back-up to Loffler sure, but he was also a back-up at corner too....Last year was his first rel open competition to win the safety spot, and was by all accounts about to take it...

this wasn't just Walter's giving lip service...From what I saw..observed.."heard" was that it was looking like Jones was going to start the season at safety..then blew out his knee

Thing with Medlock is he is absorbing two salaries with his one salary being able to do all 3 facets of the kicking game..and as being one of the best at it...he is making basically a very modest salary at each when you break it down, so really we are saving money when you look at it

seeing the Al's released Branden Dozier...not sure why..SMS/asked for NFL opportunities or injured, but that's a guy who I would like to see us bring in for camp...only 25 and a pretty good play maker

Conteh I am sure will be able to man the spot...guy was a corner back in College, and has great athleticism...and we are going to use our safety this year as a more traditional cover guy, with over the top help...hence the reason why with Jones or Conteh there we won't miss a beat on defense and if anything cause more turn overs

we can...and will start 4 Import d-lineman anyway...there will be a National starting at safety this year be it Jones..Conteh or Hecht...Thomas will not be counted on, nor considered to be the 7th National counter...he's rotational depth plain and simple...and if Forde looks real good in camp, and Griffiths proves he is roster ready, Thomas could be on the outside looking in...especially when Kongbo gets on the roster...it will be Kongbo and one of Griffiths..Forde or Thomas on the roster

Adams has played plenty in the slot tho over his time here...so a full-time role there wouldn't hinder him whatsoever..probably get him more targets a game, and he works well in traffic and getting the grimy yards

with him and Adams now running more layered deeper routes the underneath and flats are sure gonna open up for our slots and Harris...and a perfect guy for Simonese to learn from and have as a mentor

HUGE SIGNING.....Matthews..Demski..Woli..Adams and whomever wins the 5th spot looks pretty darn good to me to compliment Harris outta the backfield...If we were so start the season now with that crew we are looking good..Woli and Adams will flourish now with Matthews taking a lot of attention

Hughes has dissapeared the last 2 seasons by the mid point..cant see that changing this year..Soli is another yr older..coming off injury and basically a yr of inactivity..I think he has a bit left and will be good..but not great and not a difference maker. Their big splash Johnson as well will be 31 this year and I bet having to do all the heavy lifting himself on the rider line he will wear down and not be what he was in Cgy..especially when offensed dont have to focus on Jefferson and Egoeovan... Arceneaux has been in decline last couple years and coming off knee rebuild..roosevelt too is declining and one good hit from IR..again...same with their QB...and no back up at all..Powell wont be a difference maker and will have to battle through a packed box most games behind a suspect Oline until they can show they can stretch a field. The smoke and mirrors fluke wins last year and winning because the defense basically put up as many points as the offence wont happen 2 yrs in a row..

Yeah banking a lot on aging guys, and guys coming back from injury, or injury prone now at this point in their careers to play as good as before in order to be successful...risky play on management there To hope Collaros..Roosevelt..Labatte and Arceneaux and Bladek whenever they gets back into lineup as well as oft injured Clarke who just suffered an accident is asking a lot...especially with no real depth whatsoever behind them...and who knows if Soli will be the same or take a while to get back to form and if Evans goes down...they are really screwed...
