  1. I guess that may be an area where they can go cheap with a rookie and have no real impact on the defense...must be high on one of their off-season signings, or have eye on something else, or maybe switching to a modified 3 man front using a nose tackle and a pure rush specialist working from different spots...or overloading an end...
  2. 8 hours closer?...good god man do you live above the tree line??..hahahaha
  3. Oops...fixed that..1000 yard I meant but thanks for the jokes lol
  4. thing is...just with his skill-set and size alone...if he would be used and targeted 5-8 times a game....he would be a lock probably for an average of 50-60 yards a game...which translates to a 1000+ yard season at worst with most likely those td's if not more
  5. i hope that Lapo adjsut or augments his scheme regardless, as if he keeps it staus quo teams will be eating our lunch right from the get go knowing what the bread and butter is...should always be ever evolving any way. And any quarter back at the pro level can stretch a field and throw intermediate to long all day long if the scheme and the OC allows for it...saying a pro QB doesn't have a long ball, or can't throw a long ball at this level is baseless and out right false. A guy can't go rogue and do his own thing or he will see the pine pretty quickly. Nichols seems smart enough, and has been in this system long enough now, with a lot of the same weapons that he should be given the ability and chance in games to cal his own plays and not have to follow the script given to him through lapo..But I doubt this occurs
  6. nice...maybe we have an uber motivated guy...I like his skill set and potential...hopefully his year of seasoning will produce this
  7. injury issues apparently for the quality of life after football was the reason why...still not sure what they were last year though
  8. JOKE....the league that is...probably why too the CFL lost basically nobody to that league other than players who really couldn't cut it here
  9. from what I remember didn't Roh sign for a relatively low salary...and was a lste into free-agency signing?
  10. you always have to develop guys though..can be a cheaper replacement for roh next year if Jefferson extends perhaps?...
  11. McCalllister does...freaky athleticism..had a stint with Eagles and almost made Skins, some people think he should have stuck there
  12. Yeah..but is that sustainable..and what if other cities are pulling in low teens..or worse And now they missed payroll after the second week, and had to have an NHL owner fork over a whack of cash to keep them afloat..I give that league maybe till end of first season
  13. Yeah I can believe that locker room is like that..u coukd see it in the play...and personal show boating. Maybe part of reason Jefferson wanted out...my opinion its guys like Gainey..Edam..and now Purifoy who would be big cause of it
  14. Yeah I think he was their best guy.. maybe if NFL doent pan out he will want to follow his buddy to the Peg
  15. Tho he seemed to handle and get under skin of Micah johnson last year. I like joseph as well in a rotation.. and if I was to go after a lineman Filer would be the best
  16. Boom..there goes that argument..and they ran that due to post poor DT depth
  17. Yeah..signed for less..and said himself if it's a good he will extend. Also said culture.. coaches..players and who showed him they wanted him more factored in. How rider fans think their defence will be as good as last year..or even dominant with loss of Jones..Jeffeson..Eguovan..Antghua..and an aging Hughes and even a near 32 yr old Johnson as a replacement is delusional That doesnt even factor in unsigned Olineman and one coming back from a ACL tear prob not till mid season...and the awesome qh tandem they have..if they get 6 wins I will be impressed
  18. He's had a few years on NFL practice squads...almost made the skins..pretty sure he's been coached up
  19. Yeah..uses hands well and has a pretty good athleticism with his length..qualities in the NFL that is highly sought.. especially with a pure edge rusher.. he actually tested tops in most notable tests at the combine for his position..interesting add to TC
  20. Jefferson clone
  21. and hasn't been the same since Loffler walloped him either
  22. yeah...if you didn't know who he was..and just watched him, and looked at the physical aspect...you would think he was an import...that is my impression when watching him
  23. Interesting hearing from management about what many of posters have been mentioning about Loffler's struggles in coverage...and confirms to me that he didn't get put in a traditional safety role...also interesting that Jones was in position to supplant him...t
  24. pretty certain we will sit on some cash now...waiting for one of the mentioned to get cut...
  25. Yeah he needs time for things to develop...which he won't get there...the snap..2 step drop and chuck doesn't suit Arcenaux's skill-set...whenever he gets back..which is sounding like mid season
