In their "defense," the Jets have been shitting the bed for a while now. Ever since that loss in Motown, they've struggled mightily with consistency. Tonight's game is something of a microcosm of that.

3 goals on 18 shots.  Atrocious pk.  Mediocre pp.  No offensive zone presence.   And the losses are piling up. so aggravating being a Jets fan this year.

Willie strutting with his championship belt (did he ever give it back?)... Hard to believe that was 1 month ago.  Lots of smiles and holiday cheer from Bomber fans!

3rd Canes goal comes about 4 seconds after Staal trips Lowry as he's headed up the wall with the puck.  Too bad the NHL doesn't allow challenges for blatant missed penalty calls like that which lead to goals.

They don't really have the ability to retaliate cuz they dont have a guy who intimidates people. They miss buff that way for sure. 

Man.. the last 3 games the Jets look disorganized and sloppy.  Hellebuyck is the only reason they get to stay in a majority of the games.   It seems these 3 days off between games really affect their rhythm .   20-11-2 is nothing to sneeze at though and if they can just play a little more consistent, they would be very dangerous.
