I like Singh and May as leaders but will never vote for either, they're platforms are unrealistic and beyond affordable, they would do so much harm to the economic foundations of this country that we would never recover (think Ontario under Wynne x 1000). I only vote Liberal when there is a competent PM and cabinet, unlike this current version. I know some people are drawn to the whole diversity thing but that should never be the basis of building a management group for 2 trillion dollars of public assets. So I am left with the safe choice, the Conservatives, even though I agree with many who think Sheer is a weenie, they will at least be the best stewards of our public funds while at the same making life more affordable for everyone. I'm not scared away by all the ridiculous notions that they are somehow going to take all your human rights away, this is just a common scare tactic the left has to use because they can't compete on an economic level with them.

imo, Singh has been the most impressive speaker, although some of his platform ideas haven't been costed and just aren't realistic. If he continues to do well in the debates, I can see him syphoning votes away from the Liberals, fingers crossed.

You can invest in renewables AND make some money off of our fossil fuel resources at the same time. The world isn't using any less oil and it won't in the foreseeable future, all we are doing it letting other countries profit from it rather than profiting ourselves. IN addition to that oil and gas companies, aka ENERGY companies are fleeing this country so their investment in renewables is leaving the country yet again leaving us in the dust. 
An economy still needs primary industries, if not oil and gas and energy then what pray tell shall we make money off of? 

Unfortunately $30 million is nothing compared to the billions of dollars from US "environmental groups" who fund all of the law-suits that tie up Canadian oil and gas pipeline development indefinitely, leaving this giant pool of cheap energy for the US to exploit.  And the people here in Canada just fall for it over and over and over again.  I support some kind of action to counter the nonsense from foreign interests, but $30 million ain't nearly enough.

Just popping in to say I can't believe anyone thinks we have a bad secondary. Our guys have been phenomenal this year, and we're down to like a 3rd string at Alexander's spot....still wicked tight coverage. What a crazy notion......

That was a 'big boy' game, two really good defences. We should have won but it's LDC and we rarely do. The two missed scoring opportunities are what cost us and both are on Streveler just being inexperienced. We get them two more times here so I'm not too worried.
