If you are going to make claims like this, then please cite the source where Frolik publicly said I don't want to be a Jet... he signed a one year bridge deal to stay - why didn't he just leave then? If Chevy would have offered the term and $$ Frolik wanted the first time, his contract would probably be expiring in two years... we'll never know. But you can't just say - oh he didn't want to stay, end of conversation. So its nothing like saying Crosby would be better than Thorburn, quit distorting the conversation.

Its a dead horse... but Frolik and Stempniak instead of Burmi and Stafford make this team better. A free agent 6th D who is not named Brian Strait probably does too. That being said, Buff is playing too many minutes. Enstrom is over-matched and playing too many minutes. Ehlers, Petan, Trouba and Morrissey are still being under-utilized. Maurice is old school - 'earn' your spot, he's not growing with the NHL. He has his vets' backs, he expected them to have his and they don't.

Bit extreme... don't mind watching challenges if they are actually relevant to the play Could do this as a 'delay of game penalty' if the challenge is unrelated to the play or frivolous... but more stuff for refs to think about is a bit scary. If you actually watched the game, you would have commented that Trouba was carrying Enstrom and that Chiarot/Postma were as much to blame for Helle getting pulled as he was. Morrissey tried to bail out Buff on the end to end rush... conclusion: you did not rewatch that game. And arguing about save percentage after every single game is getting ridiculous.

Then I guess its time to fire Chevy.

I've been a Maurice fan... but he's a good coach when Ladd-Little-Wheeler is your top line and Lowry is your young star and Stuart/Thorbs have not totally lost a step. He doesn't know what to do with ESL, Petan, Armia, Morrissey, etc...
