Game 45 : The Howling @ Bark At The Moon
You should probably watch that game again. It was the opposite.

Around The NHL 2016/2017
This post reminds me of how guys started throwing everyone under the bus to pretend that Drew Willy wasn't the problem... Eric Staal, Nino Niedereitter, Jason Pominville and Chris Stewart are not 'better' than the Jets. The difference with Minnie is that they are rolling four lines and playing D first.

Game 44 : Cartier @ Lagimodière
Jets leader is Buff and no one else. When he's on fire, this team wins... when he play likes he's hungover, it implodes. Maybe part of this is that Buff has been playing five minutes longer per game than he should be and he's just worn out. Leaving Trouba and Morrissey off the power play and PK in favour of Buff and Enstrom is still a coaching decision...

Regardless, you're still totally wrong about the Rangers.

Paul Friesen ✔ @friesensunmedia Asked Byfuglien if he agreed with his coach's view: “He can look at it whichever way... we know what we did and didn't do." #NHLJets. The question is.... are Maurice's glasses thrown in the shower?

You also thought Drew Willy wasn't the problem.

Game 44 : Cartier @ Lagimodière
http://stats.nhlnumbers.com/teams and http://www.quanthockey.com/nhl/teams/winnipeg-jets-players-2016-17-nhl-stats.html Dunno, just used these links... you must have some greater insight. But your arguments actually demonstrate that youth is not the main factor in winning or losing... Bobrovsky was no Vezina candidate last year... are you sure its not Tortorella's system thats making him look better this year? Same with Minnie - Dubnyk's career was changed by a good goaltending coach... You apparently have zero knowledge of the New York Rangers. That's fine. Its just funny that you dismiss young teams with success because of good goaltending... but Carolina is cited as an example of a young team with Ward/Lack as their starting combo

Game 44 : Cartier @ Lagimodière
Ah, the we're too young excuse... just wait til next year... except we'll be younger with Stafford and Thorbs gone 5 of the NHL's top ten teams are 'young' - Columbus - the youngest, New York, Edmonton, Anaheim, Minnie

Game 44 : Cartier @ Lagimodière
Goaltending is an issue absolutely. But again, I remember Habs fans crying when Halak was traded instead of Price... so Helle needs time. What is hard to ignore is that Maurice now has a lineup that Noel would have only dreamed of... even with Postma and Chiarot. Its a two-pronged battle - goalies cannot control rebounds - and now I see them getting 'overwhelmed' and that's not good The other problem is that the Jets actually don't play defence - Morrissey ends up covering the blue line with Ehlers half the time and Enstrom is now too slow to cover for Trouba's rushes 40 games in and we're watching shinny... that's not on the goalies.

A Healthy Jets Roster
OMFG I finally figured it out. - Repetitive posts about a plan that would expose Helle to the expansion draft, demanding we expose Hutch so that another team claims him and calling up Comrie... You're Ondrej Pavelec!!!
-
A Healthy Jets Roster
I wonder if a healthy roster could have helped this team beat a Montreal team missing seven starters and with Al Montoya backstopping them... On the bright side, we'll get a chance to score on a lot of backup goaltenders for the rest of this season...

StatsCentre @StatsCentre On Wednesday night, the #Canadiens pumped 7 goals past the #NHLJets- a rare occurrence in a regular season road game over the past 23 years

Karl Alzner
Actually I mocked you only after the 9th post where you suggested signing him. Just to be clear.

Game 44 : Cartier @ Lagimodière
Skating through an entire team to score at the halfway point in the season is on the coach. Stafford is garbage and you can see him dragging down Ehlers. He iced the puck out of the offensive zone!!!! ... the guy gets assists because he tries to get rid of the puck as soon as it touches his stick... once in a while, he accidentally completes a pass. Zero awareness. Armia is the reason Lowry and Matthias look good. But giving him PP time at the expense of Petan and Ehlers - and leaving Stafford on your #1 PP team - ridiculous. Chiarot and Postma still suck. Buff hungover. Enstrom officially has lost a step. New coach, new goaltending coach, new special teams coaches. Embarassing game against Montreal's AHL team. In a rational world, this lineup should be: Armia-Scheif-Ehlers Petan-Little-Wheeler Perrault-Copp-Stafford Matthias-Lowry-Thorburn

Karl Alzner

Finally Petan has some talent on his line!

Our Goalies
So your plan is for the Jets to win two games and lose one then repeat for the next 40 games... man, you're right we are going to win the cup!!! Wait, how come we're barely .500 if all it takes is winning two games and then losing only one. Its so easy. Seems like you're blaming this on Maurice which I think is premature.
