  1. That's a good question, I'd think you would pick one that isn't.
  2. Willy would be the best QB on the Riders.
  3. I really wish we would've signed a decent MLB. I thought we had moved past the days of starting guys like Hurl and Kuale.
  4. I can do without seeing any of Bruce Johnson, Lankford, Stafford or Hurl seeing significant playing time.
  5. We'll probably just bring back a trusted veteran like Kuale.
  6. Why did we give up on Bryan Bennett?
  7. He did and missed basically the whole season due to injury. I can't see him sticking here.
  8. Our O-Line was a huge part of success last year. I'd prefer that we stick with three imports for another year and find someplace else to start another Canadian if need be.
  9. Riders NI Talent and O-Line are still very questionable, along with their horrific QB situation. Not so coincidentally, those are the three most important aspects of a football team.
  10. Sure ive been wrong many times before and will be wrong many times again. I've also been right many times before and will be correct again many more times. What's your point? Not to mention, you said that Garrett Waggoner was a good pick, so who knows about anything you say right?
  11. Richards is worse than Etienne. How people here are still sticking up for him I just don't understand.
  12. Waggoner is a mediocre player and is no big loss. How bad of a selection that was has really gone under the radar around here.
  13. Yup. I loved Kohlert when he was picked in the expansion draft by Ottawa and chose to re-sign here, but he was absolutely dreadful this year.
  14. We've seen Ray struggle for an extended period of time in Edmonton, and that's when he was still in his prime.
  15. Judge reminds me of Waggoner, in theory he can play multiple posistions, but in actuality he'll be a career backup no matter where you try to play him.
  16. It would've been nice to go after Vandervoort, and I feel like picking Gray in the first was still a bit of a reach. I'm not overly impressed by the Conteh pick in the third round - he's nothing like Loffler, a guy who lives and breathes football. Having played with Abu, although I'm sure he's changed since, he was never a guy who was really committed to football. He used to skip football games to avoid being banged up for basketball games. I can't say that I feel like we did very good today, it was a sadly predictable draft, but that isn't a good thing this time.
  17. Agreed, but I might just be saying that as I like how that mock draft turned out for the Bombers. We'd regret passing on Danny Vandervoort.
  18. At Trestman's age it may be consistently tough to keep his Willy upright if it comes to that.
  19. I thought Mayo and agree he was the best of the bunch. But still, it's absurd say that all of our import receivers did good last year. We played a lot of duds.
  20. Pretty much everyone we dressed sans Denmark while Adams, Dressler and Smith were all hurt was unproductive. We also haven't recruited one single decent receiver with Walters as GM.
  21. Considering he was cut in camp last year... probably not?
  22. I played with him for many years, he always reminded me of Doug Brown.
  23. To me, Danny Vandervoort is the best player in the draft, and also fills a need. He'd be as good a pick as anyone first overall.
  24. Agreed. I'm not buying that one at all.
  25. This guy has being our next Kuale or Romby written all over him.
