I think the Riders and their fan base are finding out what it's like not to be pampered 24/7. It's like the league is the parent and the riders are the kids and are being ushered out of the house to look for real jobs.
Now back to the Noeller VS ISO fight

This'll be it for him, I believe. When this current Bombers/Corus contract expires, TSN will almost certainly win the next bid and have their own guy. Someone young and hip, I'm sure...
Awww you flatter me so much.

Migs on twitter is absolutely losing his ****. It's quite entertaining.

If the CFL wanted to make a statement without having it come across as a conspiracy, they would simply no longer publish Pedersens articles

Prior to today that was kind of what was believed. Now I think its fairly obvious the Riders don't want him there to ruin a great event to recognize some former greats.
Nor should he. It's a night to honour past Riders greats, not to corner the commish with angry questions

Keep in mind. Suitor drinks the green Kool aid.
Seriously at one point he said if the riders could win this game and win next week they'd be right in the thick of the playoff race in the west. Dudes a fool.
When the riders score a TD Glenn Suitor ejaculates Lots.
And Rod Pedersen watches and cleans up

I agree. From what I read he had a good training camp. My theory is with the way the JSJ ordeal played out, Mckay became expendable. Had St John came to camp and performed, maybe he would be starting at Tackle. Then Mckay would still be here in backup/ development role. My opinion is that it was a mistake giving up on him so quickly, and that Chris Jones wanted the roster spot for his Eskimo buddy Andrew Jones, who has been horrible to say the least this year.
Their whole draft this year had me scratching my head.

It's a good thing they pried John Murphy out of Calgary!

Credit Jones....He either is getting talking about the Riders, or everybody (Bombers included) not focusing on the game this Sunday

I don't want Burris in any situation, to be honest.
If there was a situation out there that could land us assets for Willy while we still retained a quality backup QB in some way or another, I'd consider supporting the idea of trading Drew.
Is that situation out there? I don't see it.
The ONLY situation that I can see presenting itself is a scenario where we basically do a three way trade with Toronto/Montreal
Toronto gives up: assets, gets: Drew Willy
Winnipeg gives up: Drew Willy, gets: half the assets from Toronto, Kevin Glenn, cap relief to bolster their roster elsewhere
Montreal gives up: Kevin Glenn, gets: half the assets from Toronto, cap relief, an opening to boost Vernon Adams/Rakeem Cato up the depth chart and invest in the future
I feel vindicated. I was thinking to myself this morning that if we were to trade Willy, the only QB that we would likely get in return is either Glenn or Cato. How we get that plus other assets was hard to figure out. Possibly a 3 way deal makes sense.

That may change when the game that the CFL is partnering up with gets launched

No PS4 release? Blech.
To be fair the game designed by Canuck studios is not by the league, and isn't available through Sony because Sony hasn't given the go ahead.
The video game from the CFL itself hasn't provided any other information other than they are looking to get it done

Mtl is a couple losses from being out of it, this is probably as high as his value will ever get again. It depends on if pop thinks glenn is a part of the future in mtl or not. I think that deal only goes through if we some how work in salary cap relief for them. Or any deal they do this year.
That would be interesting too. I like cato, Id certainly take him over our back ups. Though keeping 4 around is allways a good idea.
If Popp thinks KG is the future of MTL, he might as well get ready for his exit interview

Different situations. We chose Nichols over Willy. Toronto didn't choose Kilgore over Ray and Hamilton didn't choose Masoli over Calaros. No one in their right mind would.
Chose to or had to doesn't change the fact that they did.
