McGuire throws a nice ball. There’s something there. 

That was one of the few that actually should have been called. 

For a league that calls every tackle from behind as a horse collar, that’s pretty inexcusable. 

Bighill has looked like ass most of the season... and I say this as a fan of his.

Bighill is extremely useless in zone.

Line has been crap since Gray was benched and Collaros is clearly terrified of pressure. Hardrick is one of the worst linemen in the league at this point. 

Bailey is the only guy worth watching but yes. 

I trust our offence to do very little but similar to how Justin Goltz was one of the most unstoppable goal line QBs in CFL history, I trust that Streveler can convert in that situation at least 8/10 times. And as long as you’re above 50% on 2-point converts (which is laughably easy), it’s worthwhile. 

He wasn’t a dumb hire and I still believe he’s a good coach. He just has a few flaws that undermine a number of the great things he brings to the table. 

Your grasp of how to have a meaningful debate without humiliating yourself is more offensive than anything that has happened on the football field this season.

The main thing is if you're playing a team that is going for 2 AND getting them, you have to get on the bandwagon too.
It's not quite this extreme, but would almost be like saying "I didn't worry that we gave up 4 touchdowns because we had the strategy of kicking 10 field goals."
If they are scoring 8 and you are scoring 7, eventually you have to be able to score a lot more, like an extra FG or two depending how high scoring the game is.  An extra two scoring possessions or scoring from the 3 yard line....obviously scoring from the 3 yard line has far greater odds and far fewer variables.

I'd trust Ottawa's offense to make 51% of 2 pt converts over a whole season...so yes.  I'd expect most to be in the range of 70-75%
O'Shea's logic is really off on this one, it's indefensible.

Lapolice is in his 10th season as a primary play caller in the CFL.  Exactly once he has coached a top 3 passing offense, and that was his first year in 2002 when Milt had the best season by a receiver in CFL history. 
Doesn't matter what collection of players he has.
At some point the guy has to go from being a "genius" to a guy who can't make an offense work, and can't figure out how to utilize talent week after week.

As far as Streveler goes, let’s be clear. He wasn’t great again tonight but put up the standard 220 yards of offence. If anyone thinks Nichols puts up appreciably more than that, or the result is any different, I don’t know what to tell you. 

I will tell you this: is everyone on this team had the heart and will that Streveler and Harris have (Including the coordinators) they'd probably never lose a game. 
Just can not see Streveler ever succeeding with a guy like Lapo running the offense for him. He is too much a competitor to play in that passive bullcrap game Lapo loves. He needs someone like khari who will give him the green light to be aggressive and force the issue. That's just the kind of guy Streveler is. play it safe isn't his thing.

Say what you want about Streveler. O’Shea takes the right approach to going for two and doesn’t leave points on the table and the Bombers win, or bare minimum take it to OT.
