The 7-2 is in a large part because we played the 3 worst teams in the league twice each. That accounts for 5 of our wins. We also played Calgary with their backup QB and Hamilton with their backup QB for 3/4's of the game. The only + .500 team we played with their starting QB was Edmonton.
The back 9 doesn't include any teams that are currently below .500 and we will be playing with our backup QB for the next month or two.

Really bad luck for Nichols that we scored two punt return TDs on the drives where he was going to march the team down the field himself. Just really terrible timing for him. 

Please do not take this chat off topic about bomber team news... We are focused on Flags and fun with flags. 

The defense is really good.. You can't really argue that especially since Big hill is out and even with Fenner we are shutting teams down. 
Special teams is providing exceptional kick coverage while also opening large lanes for our returners and they are racking up yards putting starting us out at midfield. 
The offence isn't getting the yards that the 300 club pines for.  Perhaps this is more because we are starting off from mid-field or in their end on kick offs and punts.  Maybes it becuase we score early on single large plays and then run the ball?
Regardless of where you view the strength / weakness of the team, i think you have to say that all three facets of the team and strong and working hard and contributing to the wins. 
I'm sure we will loose a game soon, but i its nice having breathing room early in the season vs trying to catchup.

Not too surprising. Dr Zaius is still getting grief because he didn't get the "released" part right.

There wasn't much of the story broken, it was all very vague, which was the source of the sarcasm.

Brock Ralph did a jet sweep around Matthews so fast in La Roca that he thought he had been stabbed.  More to follow...

No.. Brock Ralph apparently.. He heard we may have had the need for an Non-import receiver.   When he asked about it, they said they were looking for a receiver and they didn't see anyone in front of them that could catch a ball.

This is bigger than I thought.

Matthews did arrive at the stadium in a white Bronco, if that means anything.
