Olli at a pay cut is a possibility... Who really will pay him 4.5 million anymore? Also doesn't his family live in town? I'd offer him a longer contract at a pay cut and see if he'd take that

I didn't get a chance to watch the game tonight.... but I checked and it was 4-1 and literally 20 minutes later I read that we lose 5-4? Was it on Pav or a complete collapse by the team in the 3rd?

In his three years in Winnipeg he seems to be regressing which is a bad sign. I'd give up on him if we could get value in return.

Yes but last night it was their mistakes that left Pavs out to dry. You say the reason we lose or that we suck is because of AHL level defensemen.... we didn't lose because of Ellerby , Pardy.... we lost because everyone has checked out including the "big guys".

Pretty dumb comment considering several of the miscues were caused by bigger guys like Byfuglien and Jacob Trouba....

The guy is up and down, last night though the team definitely did not put up much of a fight. I wouldn't pin last nights loss as his fault by any means.

I'll be devils advocate... Elliott has a better arm is more mobile and durable. I'd say they are close in talent...

Kane is over rated , 5 years in and he still can't make a pass... The high goals is mainly is result of him shooting non stop. If the team can get someone with talent for him then they should. Frolik is outplaying him and making a fraction of his salary.

Also made a mistake w/ Grant Clitsome, Setogucci, Tiny Enstrom, Burmistrov, Antropov, etc. Bogosian is regressing. Totally disagree... Clitsome was a cheap and decent pick up last season, Enstrom is an ok player, Burmistrov was the Thrashers fault for bringing him in to young , Antropov was the Thrashers fault, Bogosian isnt' as bad as people make him out to be. Setoguchi is only on a 1 year contract, smart move by the club so after this year he is gonzo and the salary is freed up. A bad GM would of thrown a 3 year contract at the guy.

Lol the roster isn't that bad. Pav sucks not because of the poor defense... it's his poor rebounds that he gives up and his lack of ability to stop a wrap around. The numbers don't lie.... Montoya is playing behind the same "AHL'ers" that you say and he's keeping the team in the game much better then Pav does.

I don't think they pull the trigger on those guys unless somehow they get a steal of a deal..... I do think though if Kane doesn't improve next season that he will be dealed on the trade deadline for picks or something of value.... how long can you wait before a guy actually picks up his game. Sure he might get 30 goals but he takes a ridiculous amount of shots and rarely sets up any plays.... I'll take a guy like Schiefele who might only get 15 - 20 goals but who will actually create a tonne of more scoring chances by passing the puck and probably would end up with the same amount of points as Kane.

I'm guessing teams are waiting for the draft
