Don't forget Hall was as brittle as Pierce so really no need to keep the guy. I think Brohm and Marve will be able to do more then guys like Goltz, Boltus and Brink did with us over the last few years. Good luck to Hall I assume he goes back to coaching.

So where does Max Hall end up?

I have a great deal amount of faith in this coaching staff and Walters.... they definitely make moves that are obvious and I knew it was obvious from pre season game #1 that Hall had zero upside and needed to go. Fantastic move by the club and my condolences to 17to85 as I know he was a big fan of Max Hall and his hatred for Brohm must be even greater now!

So what's the deal with us cutting the guy that we just signed from Edmonton?

*If* for some reason he was to play in the CFL I'm sure he would only play for the Blue. But I see him getting signed somewhere else as depth

Then he should be traded... What if he gets hurt with the Jets? He would quit the team?

What I dont get is why he can play in Russia but can't play for the Ice Caps. If his head is messed should he not play anywhere?

I don't think anyone hates Hall... He just has no upside at all. The noodle arm just won't work in the cfl.

I think people want Messam not cuz he is great... Its because by starting him we can swap out in another position with an import who could be much better then the ni filling that role.

Here's the thing, the church absorbed all the pagan holidays because it was easier to convert the heathens if they could say "hey look! all our holidays are the same as yours!" Halloween is All Hallows eve, ie. the night before all saints day. No one with a brain has a problem with the dressing up aspect because it's a harmless throw back to the pagan origins of the holiday. That's a bit insulting to say one has no brain because they don't share the same belief as you do. No need to be narrow minded! I can also say that the extreme religious folks also hate on the commercialization of Christmas with Santa (Santa isn't suppose to be wearing red and white!) and Easter should not be about Bunnies lol!

Burris also looked awful in the NFL ..... I will reserve judgement on Brohm until he gets a little bit of real experience in the CFL.... he at least has the capability of throwing a 20 + yard pass with some zip so already he has more going for him then Hall....

Telegin definitely has some issues, I'm surprised the Jets didn't send him to a proper shrink. Specially after the Rypien thing. Seems like Telegin is partially telling the truth And partially making excuses. I don't buy the whole can't mentally play for St Johns because of the injury...

I think we see much more parity this year... I think Hamilton and Saskatchewan take a few more losses. Winnipeg will be slightly better then Ottawa. I think Toronto easily wins the East unless Ray gets hurt. That offense will be rolling and with Burke they'll be good.

Maybe some die hard fan can torrent the games?

IE. O'Shea was not happy with Halls int at the end. I finally got around to watching the game and yikes that was a poor decision to make. Eat the sack there and they might win the game. I'm glad that you are finally seeing how mediocre Hall truly is. So please no more comparisons to Ricky Ray and dropping passes into the receivers hands. Halls noodle arm and stone legs simply won't cut it.

So aka chip says the negatives on the guy is that he can't block or catch yet in other posts it says he was used mainly as a blocker and that he had 300 yards out of the backfield. I think it makes sense to sign him mainly because of our need for non imports. Could we not have someone else play special teams?

What makes him really bad? I have not watched him play the last two seasons. His stats are decent enough?

No point in rushing him back , might as well give him the year off
